Sometimes it looks like there aren't enough tables/tools in there with all the customers but it always seems to work out! I would give 5 stars because we have continually gone back but I feel like more can be done to show what products are available. It's a silly complaint but I'm always a little bummed when I don't see a piece I would like to work on so I settle for something affordable. (Which in my experience range from $18, 22, 28, 34, etc. I am sure there are ones more/less costly) I also understand some items maybe seasonal or limited but I think snapping a couple pictures and updating their "inventory" on Facebook/Instagram a little more often could go a long way. Lastly, we have found ourselves wanting to go to the store a few times but arrive and realize they are only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I also liked that they had paint pens to use for outlining drawings if you used a pencil, but they were a little bit difficult to use because the lines came out thicker than expected. It also only took a day or two for them to fire and glaze the items, so I was really surprised they were ready so fast. The people were really nice and answered questions if we had any. We spent a solid 2 ish hours there and took our time, so the money spent was worth it for the experience. There's also a punch card, so if you paint 6 things there, you get to paint a 7th item for free.

The owner was absolutely amazing--so warm, welcoming, and full of great energy. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were in great hands. We're from Houston and this was our last night in San Antonio, and let me tell you... what a beautiful way to end our trip! We did this activity on a Monday evening and it was so fun, relaxing, and memorable. The owner treated us like pros and made the whole experience feel personal and enjoyable. We couldn't stop smiling and laughing the whole time. We will definitely be telling everyone about it! **BEWARE THIS PLACE IS A SCAM**…read more Go somewhere else for painting pottery! The ceramics are expensive with most pieces being between $32-$48, all with "Made in China" labels. However, there is no paint or kiln cost it's all included with the price of the ceramic so it makes sense that it is on the higher side. But with the cost of paint included we watched the employee ADD WATER into the paint bottles there. Then when I went to use the black paint it was so watery that it bled onto my other designs. I mean it's ceramic paint, not water color. When I told the girl working she said her boss added too much water to the black paint. My mom asked for the name of her boss and the girl said Videria but not sure how to spell it but didn't want to give her name. When I asked what to do about my piece because I had just spent hours working on it to have black paint run on it, she asked what I wanted her to do about it. I mean I feel like if you work at a pottery shop you should know how to wipe off paint or fix something if it gets messed up. My brother was working on a larger piece and on his second coat of paint when she came over and told him less goes farther. And took his paint away to bring him back a little amount. I'm not sure that treating people this way and diluting paints is the best way to run a paint pottery shop. If a boss or owner wants to reach out with their contact info my mom has a photo of the girl. At the end we spent $140 for four small ceramics and had inattentive service, and saw how slimy a business this place really is.

They sat us in the very back against a wall (no air). Then given paper pallets for paint. You had to go get your own squirts of paint from 2 "stations" which was in bottles numbered. It was crazy just going to get the paints. Bumping into people because it was packed. You had to get your own paint brushes. They offered used aprons?!?! Snacks were $2 a piece. No thank you! So then you're told to come back in 5 days to pick it up after firing. But they send no messages or text. They did say they will keep it for 3 months. But the biggest reason was for was the bill was $168. for 3 ceramics pieces. AND they ask for a tip?!?! For What?!?! My DIL will pick up the pieces but I will not go back. Have 4 other grandchildren that wanted to go but we will find someplace else.

The kids had such a blast picking out their ornaments and Casa clay brings out everything you need. You pick the colors and they bring them to you. The kids and myself had such a nice time painting our ornaments. Can't wait to see how they turned out. Yarnivore 1/6/2026. 1…read more Happy New Year to me as I dusted off my knitting needles and bag which has been hibernating these 5yrs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The store is absolutely lovely and has a large and varied selection of yarns and all things knit/crochet. I opted for a class to help me jump back in to my long lost hobby. Suzy teaches 12pm-2pm and invites us to bring any questions or projects we need help with. She was a delight to meet and helped me remember things I had forgotten from projects I had left unfinished as well as start a new HAT with a new wool yarn that I bought at the store. Cathy helped me at the counter and was so very welcoming and kind. She invited me to wait in their sitting area which is super cozy. I was surrounded by example projects and even a knitting "bowl-stand-table" that was hand made wood from a local wood crafter. I included it in my photo of the sofa area. It is so pretty. I'm satisfied with my class today and have knowledge to finish what I had started and a new project on my circular needles Thanks Suzy and Cathy for your help today.
