I popped in to MTK for some after school munch, and munch is what I found!
Following a tough day I needed comfort food and as my Ma lives miles away, I had to opt for second best. On arrival, I ordered Ogbono Soup and Pounded Yam to take away, and ventured home.
Looking at it in the pound shop plastic container, I didn't think much of it, however I am please to say that there was not a shred of meat, fish or soup left when I was done.
An authentic meal that I have to say was very good. However MTK is not really a 'first timer' restaurant, it's more of a cafe style, 'I've had this before so I know what I am going to order' kind of place. I don't recall seeing any menus on the tables, but that's not to say that there were not any. The lady who served me was very nice, and I'm sure she would be more than happy to talk any adventurous appetite though her daily delights! read more
