Our family has had the pleasure of being part of Rainbow Montessori School for the past two years…read moreand are very sad our time with Jen, Barbara, and Martha has come to an end. We enrolled our youngest (of three) at Rainbow after a very poor experience with a her former school and are beyond glad we did so. Rainbow does so many "things" correctly. 1. They say what they will do, and they do it. Plus so much more. Our daughter came home knowing the essentials: courtesy, kindness, respect, numbers, letters, and counting. Shockingly, she also came home at the end of the year able to read, how to recognize 20+ flags, and to recognize and communicate with a few ASL and German phrases. 2. She was loved and respected as an individual and a community member. The teachers love their students. They also show students love through boundaries and self responsibility -something that transferred to my kiddo's behavior at home. 3. Rainbow is the best "bang for your buck". My daughter is going into Kindergarten better prepared than her sisters who were in full day preschool/PreK programs that were 5 days/week. 4. They encourage and guide students but never force them to "do" academic work if a child is t ready both emotionally or cognitively. They encourage kids to play and try new activities. Only complaint: We wish we knew about Rainbow five years sooner for our other two kiddos.

Wonderful Wonderful Wonderrrrful!!!!!!!!! We moved from CA and our kiddo LOVES going to school…read more.. LOVES show and tell.... LOVES how they celebrate birthdays.... LOVES his projects - I mean the list goes on and on... I am surprised they arent getting more reviews on social media... I love their Montessori style too as it isnt crazy strict, but yet so fun! My son loves getting ready and going to school and he has been there since he was 4 and was fortunate to have his birthday celebrated this past April. I am beyond happy on the tuition cost, and it is only about 1 mile to Woodinville's library, Cottage Lake park, the grocery stores, etc etc...

When I was…read morelooking for a preschool, part of my goal was to get to know some adults and hopefully make some friends, as well. Well, we have and I feel very lucky to have done that. Our daughter LOVES going to school and very much enjoys it. This is her second year The school itself is great, as well. It should be noted, this is a co-op so there is a lot of parent involvement. It can be hard work at times, but very rewarding and it really makes a difference in the community and I think it gives the kids something that they don't normally get in a regular school.

Our twin boys are currently enrolled at French Immersion school of Washington for the last 3 years…read moreand we love the community - very diverse and ground to earth. As a family although we aren't native French speakers, however our kids learnt the language so quickly. It's an excellent bilingual immersion school, which offers a strong academic curriculum in both French and English in an experiential learning approach via projects related to Art, Science, Mathematics, Sports, History etc... throughout the year, field trips, outside in authors visiting to talk to students along with exchange opportunities with schools in France. French Immersion school of Washington is one of the most diverse schools in the greater Seattle area. I would strongly recommend the school for families who are considering Bilingual immersion program in the Greater Seattle area.

We're a tri-lingual family. When we moved from California to Washington state, we were looking for…read morea French school for our two kids as the French school system is disciplined and rigorous. What differentiate this school from other bilingual schools or public schools? (1) The caliber of the teachers and staff. We were impressed with how well the school were run, the caliber, passion, and flexibility of teachers. (2) Small class with attentive teachers. Over the course of last 6 years, FISW helps to raise our kids to be open-minded, kind, inquisitive, adaptable, and curious about the world, students are simulated to learn through observation, inquiry, exploration, play and creation, vs pure memorization. The school also has many events and activities to bring the parents and community together. This is the best choice we've made.

Our twins attended Grace Lutheran Preschool for the full school year. Up until the very end, our…read morefamily had a genuinely great experience with the school, primarily due to the wonderful classroom teaching staff who cared for our kids. Unfortunately, our transition out of the program was marred by a breakdown in communication from the institution. One week before summer school was scheduled to begin, we were abruptly informed that the school was recommending our kids not attend the summer program, and that their fall enrollment was being questioned due to classroom-readiness criteria. As parents, the situation was disappointing. We received enrollment, billing, and promotional materials for summer school and the next preschool level all year long. To be notified of major concerns just days before the summer session started left our family in an incredibly difficult position, with leadership acknowledging after the fact that a spring evaluation should have been provided to keep us in the loop. Ultimately, the school's breakdown in communication broke our trust in how the program is managed, and our children will not be returning to GLC. If you are a parent looking at this program, the individual teachers are fantastic and provide a warm environment. However, be aware that you may need to be incredibly proactive in demanding written evaluations and regular check-ins with administration to ensure you and the leadership are on the same page.

My son was in Mrs. O'Neal's pre-K class and my daughter was in Ms. Weibe's 3's class and both of them absolutely LOVED going to school everyday. They learned so much to prepare them for the next year of their schooling, whether it is another year in preschool or into Kindergarten. Mrs. O'Neal's Kindergarten preparation with the kids is unparalleled, as she strives to have your child meet Kindergarten requirements before leaving her classroom. In addition to the quality learning and care from the teachers, there are several very flexible and affordable options in the schedules they offer. I'm SO happy we chose to go to Grace!
