Receptionist is usually friendly. Dr. Evans is very efficient and still really attentive to your concerns and needs.

I was so excited to find a direct care provider that didn't take insurance. From what I had heard…read moredirect care meant a bit more free thinking and open minded from the pressure of big pharmaceutical. Boy was I was wrong here!! Before being released from the hospital after my baby was born I had to have a follow up appointment with a pediatrician. My baby was less than a week old when we were seen here. The doctor did the assessment which went fine. However as soon as she was done she asked "does he have all his shots" I said no and the whole tone changed. She became incredibly irritated in tone even slamming her laptop closed when we tried to explain our stance. I actually started crying in the office and she said to me " are you going to tell me why you are really crying or will you just say it's after pregnancy emotions". My husband and I could not get out of this place fast enough. I was so traumatized by the treatment, and still think about it to this day and get sick to my stomach. I cried for days after and believe me have told whoever will listen! A friend ended up finding a pediatrician in Topeka who truly lives by what I expected from direct primary care. Who treats me with respect and never pressures my stance. So I cannot recommend enough, if you are an outside the box thinker DO NOT COME HERE!

Nobody likes having to go to the doctor, but Dr. Neu makes it as quick, easy, and painless as possible. Lawrence is so lucky to have the whole NeuCare team in the area!

I've followed him to four different buildings over the past few decades. I never have trouble getting an appointment but I usually book ahead. I love the front desk staff because they are friendly and accommodating. They always process my insurance timely, as well. Dr. Severa has a terrific staff of nurses and lab technicians. In addition, he has a staff of educators who are genuinely concerned about your health. I appreciate the friendliness, the professionalism and the quality of care I get from this office. I have seen Dr. Severa from everything from a sore throats to mole removal. I have utmost trust and confidence in his qualifications, skills and advice. He has a very good bedside manner and he is easy to talk with about your issues. Over the years, he has had to refer me to other physicians for specialized care. His referrals have all been amazing. His advice has been spot on. On the rare occasion when I have had to call after hours or on a weekend, Dr. Severa has always responded timely. Highly recommend this office. I've been coming to Dr. Sosinski of IMG since 1983 when I moved to Lawrence. He's served me so well over this time. As a family practitioner he strikes me as an exceptionally intelligent physician that listens well, has few words, but is compassionate and caring for his patients. About ten years ago they moved to a new facility and it's state of the art and includes its own pharmacy plus offices for several other physicians that are part of the group. Most of them have also been with the firm well over 20 years. The Yelp location currently listed is not correct so here's a link where you can find them: https://imgportal.lmh.org/portal/ If someone was moving to town with a family in tow and was looking for a family physician I would not hesitate a single second to recommend this business. I haven't always had great experiences with the medical community, but this physician and this organization are an exception.

He tried to opt out of seeing me from the moment he laid eyes on me because supposedly I was out of town. When do doctors not want to see patients simply because they do not live in their city but 20 miles away and this was only one of many excuses. He neglected to give me any meds for an ear infection he diagnosed after comparing both my ears. He did not ask to see my diabetic feet even though I told him about a sore on my toe. He did not want to look at the problems with my back, legs, or neck. And I was diagnosed from the hospital with decaying of the 6th vertebra of which he was informed. Is there anything this doctor does want to treat? I will do him a huge favor and look for a better doctor who will be happy to have my business.

After a few painful weeks of not knowing there was anything embedded in my hand... I was finally referred to Lawrence Surgery Center. Of course, I was reluctant to have surgery but knew it was necessary. Lawrence Surgery Center was too notch. They were extremely thorough and kind. Reception and sign in were a breeze. Pre-op staff were terrific and explained everything I was about to experience. The staff at every stage was terrific. Everyone I met was kind and caring. The quality of care was great. The staff was accommodating at every level. I was a bit cold so they gave me a heated blanket, for example. They were very intuitive and concerned about your comfort. They even called me the next day to check on my recovery. This is a fabulous building. It's huge and very spacious. The lobby and reception areas are nicely decorated and welcoming. There is a food court, a coffee shop... this is a high class place. It's big without being impersonal, too. There are plenty of spaces in the parking lot. The building is designed so that there are no stairs when you enter the building. Nice touch for those undergoing surgery. Everything is easily accessible. It's never a good thing to undergo surgery but if you have to have surgery... this is the place. Great staff, beautiful building and nice extra amenities.

Sitting in the waiting room, waiting for my appointment, I was reminded of a cattle drive. Yep, a cattle drive. TONS of people in the waiting room who were constantly being called back, shuffled, resurfaced and gone again. I fractured my fibula on my left ankle. My general practitioner suggested OK. It took them forever to schedule because the clerk never called me back. I had to be a public nuisance and leave a nasty gram on their Facebook page before they called me back. I was able to get an appointment, though, within a few days. This is a high volume outfit. I was told that some doctors only do wrists, other doctors only do ankles, and so forth. They could have forwarded my admission paperwork to me well ahead of my appointment. However, they did not offer that option and I was in too much discomfort to ask. So when I got there I had to spend about 20 minutes filling out the paperwork, balancing a clipboard precariously on my lap. It took over an hour to finally see a doctor. Waiting, waiting, waiting. The other people in the waiting room provided good people watching entertainment for me, though. I was actually getting very bored and worried about losing cell battery. No charging stations were available, either. When I was finally called back, I was taken for x-rays. Now I had just had a full set of x-rays two days before and they had those in my file. I was very curious why they had to take more x-rays 48 hours later. When I finally got into a room, I had one technician come in and examine me. Dr. Stull finally came in after.. more waiting. He was very pleasant and capable. He answered my questions and he had a good sense of humor. He showed me the x-rays and explained my injury. I liked him a great deal. The technician who put my cast on was very nice, too. She was helpful and she did a good job. The only thing I wished from her would be less diplomacy. This was new territory for me and I wanted her honest opinion about things. I asked questions like "Do most people get the waterproof cast?" and she gave me the standard "Some do but others don't" reply. I was truly wanting her input. She was quick and thorough and very nice, though. She even helped me to my car and I appreciate her kindness. I think they know what they are doing but it seems a bit impersonal with the high volume. They just seem too busy. You get the feeling you are a number and not a person. I liked everyone I met and they were very helpful, just hurried.
