Also can ask main Doctor to refill medications. Geese... people, Orthopedic's are always booked and some are even booked for 2 months... But that was never the case here. I can call last minute and ask to see if they have an opening on any of the doctors there that could see me in any of their 5 or so offices. Duh. People if you can not see your main doctor drive to the other offices... They are not that far. And in pain you would go and drive anywhere to get treatment. Ps. I was offered three slots, which really was convenient. His staff is very efficient and greet you warmly, and the wait was tolerable. It is a doctor's office after all, some degree of waiting is just an expectation. Once inside the examining room, Dr. Petrucelli greeted me and was just great. Listened to my explanation of reason for visitation, compassionate, and gave a good examination of the impacted area. I could barely walk. Since seeing him have also had an x-ray that showed arthritis and bone spurs. He was an hour and a half late, aggravating my sciatica (the front desk staff was its own example of complete ineptitude and unprofessionalism, making me fill out the wrong forms and laughing at my problem) and he saw me for 5 whole minutes before literally telling me to stop whining and wasting his time. Told me only old people get these problems. I said "I'm only 37" to which he responded "exactly". Aside from that, dismissed me completely with non-answers (what doctor ever shrugs and says "dunno" when asked about how to treat something?). No suggested treatment, no physical therapy, no pain management. Nothing. Sadly, not the worst bedside manner I've ever seen, but a pretty close second. Seriously disappointing. If the spine isn't your area of expertise (I was assured it was), you should have referred me to someone competent.

I have had two asthma attacks since my first request for an inhaler and very well could have lost my life if we did not have a spare from my brother at home. Jamie Pietka is a phenomenal doctor and Lakeview medical used to be a phenomenal office but unfortunately the new owner Has dug this place an early grave. If you are a woman DO NOT go here. If you value you or your loved ones lives, do not send them here. If you are currently a patient of what once was Lakeview Medical Center, I highly recommend you go to the office as soon as possible and get access to your medical charts before they are deleted like mine were! I went for a med check and beins Dr legerio retired I saw April. I think she's a DO. She prescribed my meds as Dr legerio normally did every 3 months. I paid my 45.00 copay for the office visit as I usually do. 4 weeks later j get a text message saying pay this 44.00. so I called and they can't help so the give me a # to call and the lady says I owe the money, I said for what it's a standard office visit. She said no you saw a specialist. I said no I didn't I said April for a routine office visit. She yelled at me and said I have the EOB, you saw a specialist. I said no I didn't and told her I was calling my insurance company to report the fraud and she said real quick, I'll take care of this don't worry about the bill. They are over billing people and it's illegal. I reported it to my insurance company anyway. I and my family are obviously done going there. And I hope they get a huge fine for insurance fraud.
