I am so very grateful to Dr. Rose and the team at Serenity Holistic Vet. Our girl, Nikka, is a 12…read moreyear old Husky/Shepherd mix and she recently developed some hind leg soreness/stiffness and urinary incontinence. We took her to a conventional vet to rule out UTI/kidney issues and had X rays done to ensure there was nothing grossly abnormal structurally with her bones. Everything checked out and I knew I didn't want to start her on a medication with significant side effects or have her on pain meds indefinitely, so I searched for holistic vets who did acupuncture and was so happy to see Dr. Rose was local to us! . On our first visit, Dr. Rose did a thorough exam of Nikka and informed us that Nikka had an unusual heart murmur. A different vet at a conventional clinic that had seen Nikka just a few weeks earlier also mentioned the heart murmur but said it was very mild/quiet and didn't seem concerned about it all and didn't give us any indication that it needed to be investigated. I thought that the murmur must be no big deal based on how the first vet handled the finding. Dr. Rose immediately told us that Nikka's heart murmur was quite pronounced and unusual sounding and she gave us a lot of info and recommendations on next steps. . Well, today we took Nikka to a cardiologist where she had an ECHO and it turns out she has dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), which, thankfully, has been caught early and might be able to be improved with medication and dietary changes. . Dr. Rose literally saved Nikka's life with her attention to detail, her excellent clinical skills, and her prompt and informative follow up and recommendations. I will be eternally and forever grateful to her competence and expertise. . Nikka has also had 2 sessions of acupuncture and cold laser/photobiomodulation and she definitely has more pep in her step. Nikka also loves coming to Serenity Holistic Vet, she isn't anxious or nervous and just settles right down and relaxes when the acupuncture needles are in. Dr. Rose is a gem and we are so lucky to have her here in Murrieta.

We have five dogs and three cats and have gone exclusively to Meadowridge since moving to Murrieta in 2022 because their service has been over and above anything we have received at any other vet. We have a senior dog who has a myriad of health issues including kidney disease and Cushing's. Through the guidance and care of Dr. Goulet we have turned the clock back years. He is finally back to being his old self. Meadowridge has gone out of their way to accommodate our specific needs. I wouldn't trust my pets' care to anyone else. Stop going to Banfields and corporate veterinarians! If you want a vet who doesn't just provide service care for your pet, but also cares ABOUT your pet, do yourself a favor and bring your critters to the team at Meadowridge Animal Hospital.

I have been coming to this vet office for approximately 8-10 years. First under Doctor Telles and…read morenow Dr. Post. I initially found them when Banfield suggested a procedure for my Westie that didn't sound right to me and the vet refused to provide appropriate details or even answer my questions. So I sought a second opinion. Dr. Telles actually did x-rays and her diagnosis was that the procedure recommended by Banfield was not necessary and she saved me approximately $800. Thus started our relationship. Years later, now with an additional dog, I had a terrible diagnosis of my Westie (16 yrs at the time) of kidney failure. Dr. Post was thorough, patient and while I was trying to come to terms with the news and possible euthanasia, Dr. Post pleaded with me to let him try flushing the kidneys first. Not only did that work, he put him on a prescription diet and I got to spend another year with my Mac before his kidneys ultimately failed him. Six months prior to that, I lost my 11.5 yr old to cancer. Dr. Post wasn't there, however, the vet standing in for him was just as empathetic. Both times I received sympathy cards from the vet and staff. I love how this staff loved my dogs for so many years. Both Doctors always provided me multiple options for whatever treatments they recommended. Let me just say that I NEVER felt like this business was trying to upsell me on anything! That has not been my experience.

She had been…read moreperfectly healthy her entire life, and about two weeks ago she started acting really lethargic. After days of vet visits, we found out she had a tumor on her spleen, blood had leaked into her abdomen, and cancer had spread all throughout her organs. The vet said there was nothing they could do and that she needed to be put down. My husband and I had had her since she was 6 weeks old and we did everything with her and her little black lab sister (hiking, camping, dog beach, etc.). We expected to have several more years with her and were completely and utterly devastated that we had to put her down. Tranquil Tails went above and beyond. The doctor and the technician arrived at our house and immediately got down on the ground with us and pet our dog and spoke to her with such kindness and love. They were so soft spoken and gently explained the process to us. After sedating her, we were given time alone to say our goodbyes. After she passed, they discreetly covered her up and took her to their car on a gurney. They gave me a hug and sincerely told me how sorry they were for our loss. A week and a half later, a nice young woman hand delivered a very nice box to our home filled with our dog's ashes, a clay paw print, fur clippings, a nose prints and a nice letter. They made such a difficult and heartbreaking experience easier and I could not be more grateful to them for the love and care they provided.
