I really love this place as it has a ton of seating, There are two levels and students come here to study and work in groups. The have so many different drinks and food to choose from lattes, drip coffee, pour over coffee, smoothies, tea, ice cream, breakfast pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and hot chocolate to name a few. We ordered the Lavender Honey Latte and the Caramel & Vanilla Latte but the coffee was delicious. Both had the right amount of flavors, it was served with at the right temperature. However, it seems the drinks have gotten a bit more expensive and for seemingly less quantity. The lite food options pair well with the cocktail menu, they are perfect for a happy hour situation or a galavanting night or out!

We explored the machines, barrels and containers used to make all spirits and learned about the process of creating their unique blend of spirits. The history of this place is very compelling and our drinks (flamingo) were crafted with perfection. We left with their Apple vodka and that bottle didn't make it through the weekend. The night we visited, no events occurred but the owner did mention they have live music and other events regularly. An overall cute spot I'd return to.

Here are all the things that went right: - we were immediately greeted by the bartender Jackson and presented menus and water and told about the featured cocktails -as we were deciding what to drink, I noticed a pretty impressive coctktail list and a list of some very good, rich red wines -the Angel's Envy Bourbon Berry Smash was delicious..spoken by someone who normally doesn't like bourbon but wanted to try an Angels Envy bourbon drink that was not too sweet. I chose the raspberry rosemary syrup as the berry of choice. My boyfriend had a well made gin and soda. -nice to see there were appetizer and entree specials. Makes you want to come back to see what will be on the specials list each week in addition to a nice well-rounded menu -Jackson helped us select among multiple good sounding entrees. As a pescatarian I wanted a seafood dish and decided on the suggested seafood risotto. My date was between a couple of fish dishes but after a discussion with the bartender and a further description he decided on the Maui Mahi with coconut risotto. We chose to split a salad rather than have an appetizer. -the meal--the salad came out on two plates so we did not need to divide the spring mixed berry and goat cheese salad. It was delicious and fresh and definitely enough for two side salads. We were also provided some warm crusty bread with olive oil and balsamic. Our entrees were of good portion size, visually appealing and HOT---not just warm---which I greatly appreciated and talked about after we left. The risotto was prepared perfectly by someone who clearly knows how to make a proper risotto--it was not gluey and set-up, but perfectly tender and creamy. The seafood was delicious. The scallops were seared nicely and not overly salty (something many restaurants don't understand is that you typically don't have to salt shellfish as it is salty/briny on its own). My boyfriend's mahi was sizable portion on top of an ever so slightly sweet and spicy coconut risotto. His was fantastic as well. We also enjoyed the sautéed zucchini that came with both..also nice and hot! -we had a delicious bottle of wine with dinner. After we paid for dinner and left with our remaining wine, we promptly came back in because of the heavy downpour of rain. We sat back down and finished our wine. The things that could be ever so slightly improved: -the lighting in the dining area is fitting of the decor and vibe of a nicer restaurant but the lighting at the bar is just too bright. Could maybe benefit from dimming them and possibly adding a few candals oe the small table/rechargeable lamps along the bar as it seemed wide enough. -the shrimp on the risotto should be two larger shrimp (8-10 size ) rather than the very small shrimp that don't seem to fit the vibe of the dish -there were only two options for dessert...maybe another one or two would be great -a little birdie told us that the restaurant will be having a happy hour menu soon (and a second location). We would LOVE for you to add some truffle fries with some sort of aioli...we can envision ourselves stopping in for those and some wine...often! Great addition to the limited higher end restaurants in the area. We look forward to many more meals there.
