Katherine immediately sketched out one idea on a little post-it, thought another minute or so, then drew a second idea. We went with her first inspiration, and it is just a stunning ring that delights me every day. Katherine also remade one of my late mother's rings for my daughter; she kept the overall style but made subtle modifications that transformed it. No question about it: Katherine is brilliant.

Great customer service and representation of the company…read more My husband and I came to Aspen for Thanksgiving week. We were walking around going into all of the beautiful stores. We happened to bump into the Oliver Smith Jeweler/Panerai store. Since my husband and I are both Panerai collectors, we decided to go in and see what they had. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Harry Graham. He was so kind, welcoming, and had a special charm that made us feel so comfortable. Then we met Emre, the manager of the store who is also as charming as Harry. We stayed for almost 4 hours purchased a Panerai watch and decided that we are going to upgrade my wedding ring in this store. These guys are the real deal and know that they will take care of us. During our visit, we mentioned we were going to go fishing and we did not want to get our nice coats, dirty. Immediately Harry And Emre told us we could borrow their coats to go fishing. The next day we came back and they had the coats waiting for us to use. We went fishing with their coats and were completely warm and caught several fish. Emre and Harry are a great team and are great representatives of this company. We are definitely going to be long-term clients and friends.

Ashton, the delightful manager, explained the history of the Jack Sutton name (an institution in New Orleans since 1915!), and told me that the jewelry is hand made, custom, and 18-karat gold. I was able to select the size of the charm I was interested in, as well as the color of the gold, and to order a custom enhancer bail in place of the simple bail. The charm arrived, very carefully packed, by FedEx within a week and a half. The design is different from the many Aspen leaf designs I have seen over the past five years in Aspen, with sparkling gold texture and small diamonds (the photo below cannot capture its beauty). The entire process was a 10/10 from start to finish. Be sure to stop inside this shop if you are looking for original, exquisite jewelry at many price points.
