We stay in Aspen 8 weeks a year and stop at Susie's every year. Resale shopping is supposed to be fun. It's a treasure hunt, right? Susie's has been decent for a few luxury finds. I've bought ski jackets, clothes, and shoes at Susie's. Well this past week we stopped in and had the worst resale shopping experience ever. My hubs found 6 items to try on and bought 2. There's a no return policy at the store (understandably) so I try on a lot because I intend to buy a lot. I found 15 items to try on. As I was walked through, the woman behind the register looked up and became VISIBLY irritated and asked me to try on my items so that I didn't hold up their dressing rooms. I'm accommodating so no problem. After walking in she started talking about me out loud to the customer at the desk buying 2 items, saying "I'm sorry, it's just that people come in and want to try on the whole store..." There are 2 dressing "rooms" at the store (curtained off areas). I tried my items on quickly. My husband stood outside the curtain. Several clerks asked if he needed a room and he said no. At no point did anyone have to wait for a room while I tried on items; I listened closely for that. Then the woman behind the counter saw my husband and started loudly taking with the clerks in the "back office" about how she was going to have to ask me to swap out and allow other guests to try on clothes right before loudly asking my husband "Sir, do you need to get into a fitting room just to try on 2 things?!" To which he replied "no." I was finished so I left the room and walked straight to the desk. I spent almost $400. I planned to keep shopping to find more stuff to buy, but decided to cut my visit short. I heard the check-out clerk ask every other guest if they'd been in before, but didn't ask me. She offered every other guest an emery board with the store logo for their nails, but didn't offer one to me. It wasn't until I asked if they had a rewards program (because I couldn't remember) that she reluctantly said "no but because you spent so much, we have a logo reusable bag you can have." No thanks We'll never be back. Never forget that resale stores are supposed to be a fun treasure hunt. It's not that serious and any guest can reasonably wait 5 minutes for a fitting room. It's thrift shopping, not an emergency room. No one is dying on the table. I can afford to shop at the brand stores in town, so going forward I'll skip the shitty attitude and just go direct to the brand stores. No fun find is worth such a bitchy encounter. read more

Almost always a score to be had. They have everything in high end fashion including Perfect Moment and other high end ski brands. They do a really good job sorting out worn items and you could score a deal like Mother jeans for $40. Highly recommended. It will be crowded but worth the hunt. read more

Susie's is the BEST consignment shop in all of Aspen!!! Maybe in the world even?! my mom lives here part time so I shop here quite frequently for my fiancé and me. They have such affordable prices that it is literally the only place where I can afford to buy clothes in all of the town. I found countless treasures here, including shirts from Rag and Bone, jeans that have never been worn from MOTHER, hats from Aviator Nation, a Juicy tracksuit jacket BRAND NEW!!!!, and a wonderful vintage fur coat that I got refurbished... That's only to name a few!!!! All the staff here including the owner Marley are SO SWEET and you better go often, because all the great things come in and they get picked up quickly! Always new inventory and fun time playing dress up, plus constantly taking home new fun items. Bravo! read more

Susie's Limited Consignments is one of the 3 to 4 thrift shops in Aspen. The prices are definitely not a steal/the cheapest, with most clothing items around $40-80. The women's section is about 80% of the store and the styles are OK. Mens section is small (one room), and my only issue besides this is the items were not sorted by size. I am local and shopped many times at this store, I also recommended it to visitors or brought my guests over to shop as well, but not anymore. Such a crappy self entitlement attitude! I walk in the store and there is an older woman at the counter saying they are closing in two minutes at 5:30, I look at my watch and say it's 5:20, she looks at hers again fives me the deer in the headlights look and replies 'I'm just saying', well don't say it if you don't have anything smart or useful to say. If you are so in rush to close I hope you'll close the doors forever!! And I will definitely take my business and give my recommendations to UpTown and Little Bird - they always greet their customers and are polite. Au revoir! read more

Over the years I've had some really good finds including a men's Burberry trench for $80, Brunello Cuccinelli boots for $80, Armani pants for $45, a fun necklace from Pitkin County for $25, and so much more. Think you can't afford to shop in Aspen? Think again! Suzie's has got designer duds that every guy and gal can afford. Do not let the new name fool you, this is the same Susie's Consignment that lived on Hopkins for years. I almost cried when I realized that Susie's was no longer living in that adorable old lemon yellow miner's cabin, but thrilled to hear that they were still in town. Although the new space lacks the charm of the previous shop, the quality of duds (oh hello Alice + Olivia, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, and Escada), prices, and service are still the same. Scored an adorable cardigan & skirt combo for $50 this time, and cannot wait to hit their new Basalt store! read more

This place s a solid 4 but for service, I'm knocking it down to 3. As far as price, Susie's can't be beat. In comparison to Little Bird and similar high end consignment stores, it blows them away. They truly have consignment or second hand prices. There are a large selection of anything you could want- silk kimono dresses, sweaters, shoes, hates, purses. I found a designer dress on the clearance rack for $50 that fit me to a t. I got a million compliments on it when I wore it on new years and similar styles were featured through the year in Vogue, etc. The staff just looked at me like I was there to steal or break something because of my age. And then when I checked out the front desk woman didn't even crack a smile making it not a place where it is fun to shop but more practical. read more

This store has stylish, high-end and designer items at reasonable prices. Plus, there's a nice assortment of sizes. I saw clothes up to a size 14 and shoes up to a size 10. There's also some jewelry. I went in the fall, and there were items for all seasons but especially a lot of warm sweaters. Plan to spend some time in here because the clothes aren't sorted by size, just by type and color, so it takes a while to sort through everything. Also the checkout process is long. (Everything is written down by hand and then rung up.) But I found a couple of gems. I'd definitely go back. read more

Awesome little find! I didn't realize our plans would include a trip to a place where I wouldn't feel comfortable in my ski sweaters and I wanted a nice blouse or dress. Having a giant closet full of these things at home, I didn't want to spend a hundred dollars or more. Susie's had a ABS sheer gold blouse that looked awesome with a black cami and black skinnies. I also found a rabbit fur scarf that I had been coveting, but didn't "need". I got both items for less than $90 including tax. The other awesome thing is that while the Aspen Thrift store is only open until 3PM, Susie's was still open at 5PM so I got in a beautiful day of skiing, some apres, shopping AND dinner. My favorite Consignment store ever! I've been here so many times and they have such cute high end clothes for a really good price! I've probably collected at least 10 lululemon items for under $30 and they are usually around $100 regular price. read more

Please please hear my pleads, when I say that everything at this overpriced hole in the wall is way too expensive to be at a consignment shop. I recently purchased a tank top at this dump and there was no price tag, assuming it was super cheap, since there was a stain and the fact that it was an outdated style I went to check it out. THIS TOP WAS 70$ MF dollars ladies and gents and they wouldn't give me a refund, not even right after the purchase. YES, I am UPSET. And yes, I will NEVER be returning. I hesitate to write a review about my most favorite secret shopping spot in Aspen. High quality designer clothes and knockout prices. Be sure you have plenty of time to go through the racks. And don't forget Susie's home consignment shop on the alley -- that's where they stash the jewelry and sunglasses. read more

Ok - only found out about this shop the day we were leaving! Made a stop on the way to the airport with only 30 minutes to spare and bought a great pair of gently wore Stuart Weitzman suede and faux fur boots for $75!! Wish I had more time could have done major damage. The store has so much stuff in it and is very tight when shopping. I will be back! read more

Good deals are certainly available here, however, the service side of things is severely lacking. I have found the staff to be consistently rude and self-important. I have been consigning personally-owned designer items with Susie's for over 10 years, and each time, something occurs with staff, whether it is some sort of rude response, long wait time, and/or an overall poor attitude. Most recently, I had an interaction with "Mary" and she took the cake, with a self-righteous, condescending tone. Mind you, they make 50% of each item's ticket price, and without consigners (and buyers, of course) they would have no business. They have a successful operation because they have no competition in Aspen. It's too bad the staff doesn't lend to the experience here, and in fact, seriously detracts. Going forward, I will certainly mail my items elsewhere. read more

Pretty awesome stuff here with a wide assortment of brands, particularly high end at super reasonable prices. I didnt find anything but only bc there were quite a few people in there and I couldn't get to see everything. It's a small shop. But make sure to stop if you're into consignment shopping. read more
