In all cases, California Detailing produced fantastic results that made the new cars look better than they were at dealer delivery and the well-used vehicles look as close to new as possible. Two detailers arrived on time, worked hard for over two hours, and were very polite and professional. The quality of work was great. A couple of days later, there were still a few water marks left on the seat, which is completely normal. I called them, and they immediately scheduled a follow-up appointment and came back without any issues. In the end, they removed almost all of the stain, and overall I'm very happy with the result. I've only had one other detail besides this one before so don't have a ton of experience getting detailing done. I have a Subaru crosstrek and requested only an interior detail. I was quoted $190 for 2 people and 2 hours of work. It ended up being $190 for about 1 hr of work for 2 people. They were about 30-40 mins late and I didn't get a heads up. I tried to call to see ETA but I was directed to their AI assistant which I didn't love, I would like to talk to an actual human. I did receive an update via text after I called and was concerned at first cause it only mentioned 1 detailer but 2 showed up so that was fine. Overall, Im happy with the detail but I will say I am not sure it's worth it cause it was just interior and 1 hour of work and I think cause one of the detailers said my car was pretty clean. I also saw on my invoice that my car was classified as "Large (Tesla Model Y, RAV4, Outback, Forester, CX-5, Grand Cherokee)" which a Crosstrek is not as large as those cars so I do feel over charged and feel like the price should've been adjusted/customized based on the state of my car, 30+ mins late without notice and I had to call to get notice, took half of the time projected, and mismatch of the size of my car. While I am happy it was speedy cause I had plans after the detail, the seats were wet which I think is normal but I had plans after. I communicated that I had plans after with the person who I contacted while making the appointment, so I would've liked to have known that before hand so my butt wouldn't have been wet or I could've scheduled it for another day. They also said my car was already pretty clean which I think is why it took less time too but after inspecting the day after they did miss like 1 spot that still had some sand and dog hair and a couple spots on the ceiling. I'm not sure if they touched it cause they aren't really faded. I'm sure if I pointed it out while they were still there they would've fixed them tho. They did get out the stains on the front seats and mats in my car that I was concerned about so that was awesome! Going forward I'll just take this as a learning experience and I'll just be more meticulous looking for things while the detailers are there but lowkey that kinda defeats the purpose of a $190 detail but I mean it's natural for ppl to miss things.

I've been hesitant to write this because I genuinely like supporting small local businesses. But…read moreafter this experience I think others should know. We had ADS install a PPF wrap and ceramic coat on our brand newly built Porsche last year. Unfortunately, the workmanship has not held up. Multiple areas of the film are being lifted, separating and peeling. Edges were poorly trimmed, sections underneath are coming apart and there are exposed areas where the wrap was not properly applied. These issues weren't something we were nitpicking because they were actually pointed out. ADS did attempt to address some areas on the second visit, but when you are paying thousands for a professional PPF installation, the expectation is that it is done correctly the FIRST time. Having to return to fix basic installation problems should not be the standard. For a premium vehicle, this level of workmanship is unacceptable. When the latest issues were brought up ADS refused to stand by their work. So with other reputable shops available, I urge those looking to skip this one especially if you have a luxury or high end sports car. We ultimately found another shop that corrected the issues properly and stands behind their work.
