    This is the second time they have messed up my order. Not only did I receive the wrong items, the food was cold and my bun was burnt.

Today, after recommendation from a friend to try Vittles 2 U, I gave it a try. we had a busy day and wanted to have a working lunch, so how perfect of an idea is having lunch delivered to you, especially from a restaurant that doesn't deliver. Vittles 2U touts itself as being sort of like an uber for restaurants. I am familiar with such concepts in the Raleigh area, and have always had excellent experience with other companies, so why not give them a try.?! We easily ordered the food online and paid. The program has a notification system telling you when the order arrives at the restaurant, when the driver picks it up, and when it is on the way to being delivered. First, our order arrived and the driver pointed out that ketchup had spilled inside the bag, getting onto three of the orders. Two, didn't mind so much, but the third entree belonged to someone who hates tomatoes and ketchup, so we have a problem. Second, one of the orders had chips instead of fries. Third, a burger that was supposed to have cheese, had nothing. I pointed all of this out to the driver and he said he'd be right back with the corrected orders. After 30 minutes, another Vittles driver returns with a burger, asking for the wrong order so she could "take it back and show them what they did wrong". This burger, that was to be cooked well done, was pink on the inside, so we called Vittles just to have this taken care of as it obviously wasn't going to be remedied by having them come back. I mean, lunch only last for so long in the day. Not only was the Vittles phone staff extremely rude, she also seemed to be having a tantrum. I informed her that I was not trying to make her upset, we just wanted credit for the incorrect order as now we have a staff member who was not eating. She said there was no way she was refunding us and that they had already been out here twice, and that we would have to call the restaurant they picked the order up from and fix it on their end. Here's the thing, when you run a service-based business, mistakes are understandable. It is all in how you respond to mistakes that makes or breaks your customer service. We are highly disappointed and since there were so many mistakes and terrible follow-up, we will not be ordering from Vittles again. If you are a business with limited time for lunch, I would advise you to follow suit.
