The following work day, I received a call from the technician who explained the three issues he found and his repair recommendations. He said that I would receive another call estimating the repairs. I did receive the call shortly thereafter and gave verbal authorization to do the work. I was called two days later and told the vehicle was ready to pick up. The invoice was exactly the amount quoted and the vehicle performed flawlessly. I am extremely satisfied with AAMCO Seaford, with the shop, staff, honesty and work integrity. I highly recommend this business and give it the highest rating. I don't believe that I would have been charged so little from competing shops, and chose to have the vehicle dollied from Salisbury, Maryland to Seaford, Delware, over 30-miles North. Over the course of three days, my appointment was rescheduled multiple times. I was very flexible and repeatedly said that another day was fine. At one point I was specifically told there was no availability that day, so I made other plans. Later, I was called and asked if I was available after all, but by then I wasn't because I had planned my day based on what I had been told. The final appointment was delayed again, followed by additional issues that prevented them from arriving as scheduled. I understand that unexpected things happen, and any one of these problems on its own would have been understandable. But after several days of changing plans and uncertain arrival times, I finally canceled and went with another company. I had just purchased a vehicle that is brand new to me. The seller drove the vehicle to my rental community, dropped it off, and removed their tags. The vehicle had not even been sitting there for two hours after the tags were removed before GIR Towing and Recovery came into my community and towed it. What concerns me even more is the way the vehicle was removed. Instead of placing the vehicle on a flatbed, they dragged it out of the community. I sincerely hope there is no damage to my vehicle because of the way it was towed. I work from home and began calling them at approximately 12:30 p.m. I continued calling and sending text messages throughout the entire afternoon until I got off work at 7:00 p.m. Not one person answered my calls or responded to my messages. The phone number they provide is a cell phone number with no voicemail box set up, so you cannot even leave a message. Their information online says they are open 24 hours, but when I physically went to the location at approximately 7:20 p.m., they were CLOSED. I was then told that they actually close at 5:00 p.m. So which is it? If you are not open 24 hours, your business information should not say you are. If customers cannot reach anyone by phone or text, those should not be advertised as reliable ways to contact the business. At minimum, there should be a working phone number, voicemail, accurate business hours, and some way for a person whose vehicle has been towed to actually reach someone. Now I have to go back this morning, and because their posted hours apparently aren't accurate, I don't even know what time they actually open. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. My biggest concern now is getting my newly purchased vehicle back and making sure there is no damage from the way it was removed and towed.

I live 4 hours away and the car was there for a few months for an engine replacement. Any time we wanted an update on anything it was up to us to call them and they were pretty hard to get a hold of. My serpentine belt was also squeaking pretty loudly on the day I went to pick it up, when I asked about it I was told that it was just condensation from being outside. And well, I'm fairly sure that there shouldn't be condensation on the inside of a closed engine bay but who knows. When I asked further about it the man who I was talking to suggested simply spraying wd-40 on it, which is a very VERY bad idea.
