After calling the Jeep dealer and being told that they couldn't even look at his car for three weeks, my husband did a Google search and found Vic's Service. He called and was immediately impressed with their customer service and willingness to help us. Even though they said they might not be able to look at it for a day or two, they looked at his Jeep as soon as the tow truck dropped it off and we had a diagnosis that morning. From there, we continued to be impressed and satisfied with their service. Christina got on the phone and found us a new engine and gave us a reasonable estimate that afternoon. They had the parts and began working on his Jeep within two days and were very thorough. They communicated with us during the whole process and made sure that everything was running well and that there were no other underlying issues before they returned the car to my son. We were kept up to speed with how things were going and they checked in with us when they found other issues, telling us up front what the costs would be before they made the repairs. We truly appreciate the service and care that we received at Vic's and I am very grateful to Christina for her care and concern. Dropping our son off to college 5 hours from home was stressful on its own. The car issue had the potential to send me over the edge, but the staff at Vic's was so helpful and accommodating and made the experience so much better. I was surprised and not confident about their recommendation, but in the end I ignored my intuition and went ahead with the additional $1,400 repair. That was my bad, I should've taken a step back and gotten a second opinion and I did not. A couple weeks later the person that recommended Vic's to me took her own car there. There was a check engine light on that seemed to be related to tire pressure. Vic's assessed and told her the all four sensors on her tires were bad and needed to be replaced for about $700. She was bummed, but trusted them completely. I told her my reservations and urged her to get a second opinion. The second opinion: all sensors were good, there was a nail in the tire that needed to be removed and patched, $40 max. I'm not sure if there was any dishonesty or just ineptitude, but it's enough for me not to go back.

Confusing since they have a lift in the garage - could've easily hosed it out. They were just rushing me through after they changed my oil, and wanted me to make another appointment. Took it back a week or so later, they told me I needed new struts, brakes and rotors, and that either of those issues could be causing the noise. I was born at night, but not last night. Took it elsewhere because I knew it was engine noise. My brake pads and rotors were FINE! And no, neither of those issues would caused the noise from my engine. It was a simple valve adjustment issue. I had been going there for 5 years and though I questioned from time to time whether certain repairs were necessary or not, I should have listened to my gut instinct and RAN! Who knows how much money they've suckered out of me over that amount of time. Very, very disappointed with this husband-wife shyster team. Will NEVER go back.
