So I checked out the reviews after seeing this place on Groupon and knowing I wanted the windows done on my new car and saw a review from Thien, who I know and trust for reviews and decided to buy the Groupon. He brought two cars here so knowing that made me comfortable bringing my new baby here. Plus, if you buy Groupons you know they have 20 or 25% off codes periodically, so I got a great deal! I was slightly overwhelmed when I arrived by the choices, but this was a good thing! They have three options, think of good, better and best tints. The good, which the Groupon covers, has a one year warranty and is probably what the folks that complained purchased. Well, the better and best options have a lifetime warranty! Buying the groupon doesn't lock you into the cheap option, you can pay the difference and upgrade, which is of course what I did as I plan on keeping this car for years and want it looking good as long as I own it. So I paid extra and went for the BEST which is also supposed to be better at filtering out the sun so the car won't get as hot inside in the sun. This place will do whatever you want, but they do advise you what is legal in CT so if you opt for darker which isn't you have to sign a waiver, which is totally reasonable! The job was done in under a couple of hours and looked great right away! They warn you there may be streaks and bubbles for up to two weeks, but the couple of bubbles I had were gone in days! They also tell you not to open your windows for five days, but I inadvertently opened two of them within two days and they still look perfect. I'm actually amazed I didn't ruin them opening the windows. I'd definitely come back here, without a doubt. The waiting room isn't fancy or anything, but I don't care at all about that, the job was well done! K the cashier and installer was very disrespectful and unprofessional when I asked why she put the order in as Pacific series vs. What I asked for the Sunblade series. She said it was not her fault because she wrote it down. She was argumentative and used fowl language. The worse customer experience I have had in a long time. My husband and I had both of our cars tinted by Mr. Tint this afternoon. The staff were incredibly professional and prompt with service. Each car took one hour. So far so good! The cars look great! Mr.Tint was able to get us both appointments at short notice, and there was no rushing. Their establishment is clean (including the bathroom)! They are kind and friendly people.... to the point where my husband witnessed the staff rescue a cat that was being left outside by the motel next door. Evidently the motel was evicting a tenant and they were going to leave the cat outside. Mr.Tint took the cat in and saved him/her! What sweet people. read more

I got my car tinted today. When I got my car back there was bubbles in the tints and even a nice scratch on my door handle (brand new car) took the paint right off of it. I called to discuss the issue with the person who did the tint job about both the bubbles and the scratch. He told me to come in so he could take a look at the car. I pulled up and he welcomed me at the door and said there's no way possible it was their mistake - yelled in my face and used vulgar and inappropriate language with me then proceed to tell me to call the owner when he comes in at 5. My visit was very unprofessional and unsatifising. I came here because I heard the workers were professional and hardworking. Very unhappy today with my visit. read more
