My photo does not do the food justice at all. This restaurant should have 5 stars on yelp, i can't believe it doesn't. The service is always very quick and attentive. The food is also always absolutely amazing. My boyfriend and I have made it a point to come here every time we're in Naples, sometimes more than once, because it is THAT good and consistent. And we live in Miami and have had plenty of amazing latin food, so for us to love it, it has to be really good. The chips are freshly made, never stale. The salsa is amazing (if you like the chips and salsa at Chilis I think you'll love this one too!) The steak I order is always cooked to perfection and salted with the absolute perfect amount of salt. The guac is also freshly made, definitely not prepackaged guac. My boyfriend always gets the Burrito Grande and loves it. I have nothing bad to say about this place at all. The only thing I would change about it is that it's 2 hours away from my home! Our immediate impression was wow, love the vibrant colors! Mr. Tequila Mexican Restaurant is beautifully decorated with a spacious gorgeous, stunning bar and dining area. Very clean restaurant and restrooms. Within seconds we were warmly welcomed by front desk and bartender/server Alex. Complementary warm, fresh and delicious chips and salsa were delivered. Joe ordered a Cosamigos Blanco with Guava and complemented Alex on how much he was enjoying his cocktail. I ordered a classic Margarita and also was impressed with my large tasty drink. Our fajitas were perfect! Unfortunately the bacon wrapped Jalapeños were a bit undercooked so we decided to take them home. We cooked them the following day and they were so good. Very spicy hot too. Just something to keep in mind. Joe and I had a lovely evening and enjoyed our conversation with Alex. Super nice guy, easy to talk to and a hard worker. In fact the entire staff was also hard working and very pleasant. This establishment is an asset to the Naples community and we highly recommend. P.s. we will return in the future. We always wanted to try this restaurant since it's very close to where we stayed when we first moved to Naples. Mr Tequila has been on the radar for a while and we finally stopped by for lunch. What a treat, the server had our drinks and chips out in record time. The table salsa was good with lots of flavor. They have a large menu and the chimichanga I ordered came with pieces of perfectly seasoned chicken, beans and rice and topped with a good cheese sauce. Their food isn't too spicy, but it has loads of flavor and hot sauce can always come on the side. Hubs went with the pork enchiladas and there were no leftovers. There are lots of Mexican favorites including burritos, fajitas, tacos, seafood dishes, house specials, a kids menu and variety of desserts. The service is good, the restaurant is clean and the friendly staff are there to make sure everything goes smoothly. This won't be our last visit to Mr Tequila, it's off Tamiami Trail and easy to access. I hope we can stop by again soon for another great lunch. We have eaten and ordered from here many times. I like the food, but my husband is not as big a fan. We ordered take out online 12/17/25. My husband went to pick up our order to have the doors locked for a private party with a take out order sitting on the bar in plain view.He was totally ignored outside the door. I called to find out what was going on and was told there wasnt any pending orders, only a cancelled order. I called back after speaking with my husband again to say that there is clearly a take out order on the bar and was told again its a cancelled order. I stated im looking at my online order and it clearly at this address and my credit card was charged for my order. I was told that no, that was cancelled and their kitchen is closed anyway for the day. They said that the only thing they could do would be to fill the order tomorrow- which isnt really helpful at 830 tonight I asked to speak to a manager, and after a few minutes the same person returned to the phone. They suddenly were able to see my order - which was not cancelled on my end, but still stated that the kitchen was closed, and there was a private party so they unable to fill this order. I asked why were we able to order if they were closed- I was told that the system ordered it and charged my card, not them. They said all they could do was fill the order tomorrow or refund my money tomorrow. They also offered to pay me cash for my order tomorrow in the store instead of refunding my credit card When I said that is not acceptable they said they could call my order to a different restaurant and that we could go pick it up there. When questioned regarding the different name i was told its the same restaurant, same menu, different name. We decided after all to not bother with our order from here and went to a different restaurant all together as the whole thing left a bad taste in our mouth.. We will not be using this restaurant again even thought they are literally across the street from where we live as this just left me feeling uncomfortable-- and I still have to call my credit card to dispute the charges as the restaurant hasn`t done that read more

Located in a strip mall w/plenty of parking. Large restaurant w/traditional Mexican decor & no wait when we were there. Somewhat odd smell when we arrived, which another reviewer noticed too & was a bit off putting, but we were crunched on time so decided to stay. Large menu w/plenty to choose from. They have a lunch specials menu, which we would have made this experience better, but it's not offered on weekends. we were there for lunch on a Sunday so ordered off the regular menu, which is quite pricey for what u get. The shredded beef & steak tacos were good. Al pastor was ok, not great, & carnitas was not good. Rice & beans were good. Guacamole salad was a bit watery & not worth it. Service was friendly. Appreciated the chips & salsa. Loved that they served the salsa in a carafe & gave each person their own dipping bowl- yeah! Also liked that their water glasses were glass, not plastic. In the end, $75 for lunch tacos for 3 (no beverages) is a bit much to ask. There r several other places I'd prefer to dine for that amount so doubt we will return. read more

Food is always good, staff is always super friendly. It is a chain restaurant but is ran like a real "home style" traditional Mexican restaurant. Taco Tuesdays are great with cheap tacos. the colorful ambiance was interesting but tell me how you mess up chips and salsa??? both the chips and the salsa were not good. We only ordered 2 carnitas dishes for 3 people to share; based on our experience at any other Mexican restaurant this should have been more than plenty. Unfortunately, not the case here. This was the most expensive plate of carnitas we've ever had and the portion size was sadly small! Service was passable until we told them at check out that the coke needed attention, to which 2 people asked why we didn't say something sooner.... not the point here, apologies first over criticism to the customer. Overall, it wasn't the worst place but definitely not worth a repeat visit. I MEAN C'MON! What's not to like? From the moment we stepped inside, the familiar flavors of Mexican cuisine tickled our nostrils bringing a smile to our faces. The wait staff was wonderful, the decor with painted tiles and chairs was bright and cheerful, and the food was everything we could've wanted! I've had many a chile relleno, but this one takes the cake! Sometimes the sauce is one-note and overpowers the rest of the dish, but this one perfectly complemented while retaining a robust flavor in itself. I cannot wait to go back! We're from out of town and Mr. Tequila popped up as the closet Mexican restaurant, so we decided to give it a try. We were able to be sat right away, but it was pretty crowded, so there would maybe be a chance you'd had to wait on a Saturday night at dinner time. We started off with free chips and salsa, which were really tasty. The menu is very extensive, so it was hard to decide! We decided to get drinks which ended up being way more expensive than anticipated once we got the bill. We realized this is because our server never asked us what size we wanted and just assumed we would want the largest size, which actually was not the case for us. I also knocked off a star because I ordered a chicken burrito and was given steak. I don't mind steak, but I would've really preferred chicken. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to have to wait to eat while everyone else had their food, so I just ate the steak instead. The food itself was really good! We moved to Naples from Oakland California. My husband is from Mexico so we like true authentic Mexican food. We have tried multiple places in Naples and had not yet found a margarita that suits us. After work, my coworker/friend and I decided we would go here for some beer and food. She was insistent that we get what she calls "the most amazing fajita nachos in the world". We arrived and it was not very busy, but definitely busier than I thought it would be. Chips and salsa came ASAP. Really nice flavor with the salsa. Chips were crispy and warm, but i could have done without the red and green colors for the holidays. The decor is cheesy over the top Mexican, but it really suits the place. We ordered a pitcher of Modelo ($10.99!) and the fajita nachos and sampler platter. I am not a huge fan of fajitas, I hate that smell, but I will try the nachos that my friend was all gaga over. The food came out rather fast and the sampler platter was big but slightly disappointing. The flauta was more like a flauta that had been cut in thirds and I was given 2/3 of it. I could not tell where the chimichanga was , but assumed it was the corn tortilla thing because I was able to pick out the chicken wings (buffalo chicken wings that were likely not made in house), nachos, and cheese quesadilla. I did try the fajita nachos and there were ok, but nothing I would just have to have again. I picked at the sampler, barely eating 1/8 of it. It just wasn't that good. My friend also decided she needed fried ice cream. I did not want any thing else to eat, so I watched her eat the whole thing. She said the corn flakes were a tag soggy for what they were supposed to be. The cherry I ate off the top was fine, lol. Service was ok. The server came by twice. She wasn't bad but wasn't friendly either. She may have been tired, who knows. The prices were decent but again nothing amazing. If you are in the area and craving Mexican, there's a 50-50 chance this place will be ok for you. read more

Our last visit was mediocre but we chalked it up to a minor, disappointing experience. Big deal, it happens. Gave it a chance again tonight and can honestly say the quality has nose-dived. Had more workers than diners so can't say they were overwhelmed. Chips were cold and tasted stale. Taco shell looked like someone threw the bare minimum into folded cardboard. I know food landed on our plates tonight but the freshness, flavor, and 'authenticity' seemed overall lacking. Our waitress was ridiculous. Could not throw our food on the table fast enough before she went right back to conversing with coworkers/friends. Never once checked if we needed refills. Really, go to Taco Bell, at this point. Came in tonight with a party of 9 the host "suggested " to split us up to two tables we declined offer . Why will we want to sit separately? Service was slow took 15 min to greet us came back after 10 min with our drinks never returning we had to flag her down to order our dinner . After she took our order we never saw our server again . Food was dry - rice cold , shrimp black kids burger burnt ,chicken burnt , salsa bland , margaritas lots of juice little tequila didn't have silverware had to flag another server for that . We tried several different things and we pretty much liked it all. Below is a list of some of the things we ordered and how I'd rate it. Guacamole Fresh (not dip) - Awesome. Nice and chunky like I like it. Veggie Fajita Quesadilla - Very Good. Filled to the brim with tons of veggies. Carne Asada - Nicely sized, good seasoning.
