    Found this gem in Naples!

Our immediate impression was wow, love the vibrant colors! Mr. Tequila Mexican Restaurant is beautifully decorated with a spacious gorgeous, stunning bar and dining area. Very clean restaurant and restrooms. Within seconds we were warmly welcomed by front desk and bartender/server Alex. Complementary warm, fresh and delicious chips and salsa were delivered. Joe ordered a Cosamigos Blanco with Guava and complemented Alex on how much he was enjoying his cocktail. I ordered a classic Margarita and also was impressed with my large tasty drink. Our fajitas were perfect! Unfortunately the bacon wrapped Jalapeños were a bit undercooked so we decided to take them home. We cooked them the following day and they were so good. Very spicy hot too. Just something to keep in mind. Joe and I had a lovely evening and enjoyed our conversation with Alex. Super nice guy, easy to talk to and a hard worker. In fact the entire staff was also hard working and very pleasant. This establishment is an asset to the Naples community and we highly recommend. P.s. we will return in the future. Thank you Alex!

We always wanted to try this restaurant since it's very close to where we stayed when we first moved to Naples. Mr Tequila has been on the radar for a while and we finally stopped by for lunch. What a treat, the server had our drinks and chips out in record time. The table salsa was good with lots of flavor. They have a large menu and the chimichanga I ordered came with pieces of perfectly seasoned chicken, beans and rice and topped with a good cheese sauce. Their food isn't too spicy, but it has loads of flavor and hot sauce can always come on the side. Hubs went with the pork enchiladas and there were no leftovers. There are lots of Mexican favorites including burritos, fajitas, tacos, seafood dishes, house specials, a kids menu and variety of desserts. The service is good, the restaurant is clean and the friendly staff are there to make sure everything goes smoothly. This won't be our last visit to Mr Tequila, it's off Tamiami Trail and easy to access. I hope we can stop by again soon for another great lunch. If you like Mexican food, this is definitely a place to visit.

i have a great experience every time i come. i live in Miami but a couple times a year, i make the drive to Naples just to eat at this specific Mr. Tequila. been coming since 2021. as a hispanic, some of the best Mexican food i've had. amazing sized portions for good prices. love coming here, and will continue coming here.

Service was really good. The restaurant was unique. The menu is expansive. We tried the queao .. watery. We tried the triple Fajita plate (steak, chicken and shrimp). It was really good. I had the street tacos asada ... good flavor but the corn tortillas fell apart, so I ate them with a fork.

Located in a strip mall w/plenty of parking. Large restaurant w/traditional Mexican decor & no wait when we were there. Somewhat odd smell when we arrived, which another reviewer noticed too & was a bit off putting, but we were crunched on time so decided to stay. Large menu w/plenty to choose from. They have a lunch specials menu, which we would have made this experience better, but it's not offered on weekends. we were there for lunch on a Sunday so ordered off the regular menu, which is quite pricey for what u get. The shredded beef & steak tacos were good. Al pastor was ok, not great, & carnitas was not good. Rice & beans were good. Guacamole salad was a bit watery & not worth it. Service was friendly. Appreciated the chips & salsa. Loved that they served the salsa in a carafe & gave each person their own dipping bowl- yeah! Also liked that their water glasses were glass, not plastic. In the end, $75 for lunch tacos for 3 (no beverages) is a bit much to ask. There r several other places I'd prefer to dine for that amount so doubt we will return.

Cinco de Mayo was happening! The food was delicious and the margaritas were amazing! The ambience was festive and the handcarved tables and chairs were so colorful. Highly recommend!

First night in the hotel nearby and decided to stop by. This place is a great dinner spot! We had the the Tessa's fjitas and split between two of us. Free chips and salsa are always a plus. We also had the Texas margaritas which we highly recommend. Thanks!

The food was somehow cold on hot plates! Not sure how this happened. Also, we were never asked about refills.

What A Great Place! As were driving down the street towards…read morethe Naples Botanical Garden, we passed a brewery and next to it was this small Mexican restaurant. How perfect. After our nature visit, we could stop for a beverage, then get a late lunch next door. Well let me tell you, this is legit authentic Mexican. We walked over from the brewery next door. There's a patio out front with tables and umbrellas, but it was scorchingly hot and we wanted to sit inside. Not too many tables as it's small, but one opened up for the three of us. A very polite server provided menus and took our drink orders. My daughter and I both had Micheladas. You can select what beer you want in the mix. I had Modelo Negro, my daughter selected Modelo Especial. My wife had a bottle of water. No tap water here, you need to buy the bottle. We studied the menu trying to decide what to get. Everything we could see others eating looked great and tacos seemed to be the popular meal. Our Micheladas came out and these were festive. Large mugs, rimmed with a pretty zippy tahin and pepper blend, filled with the beer and a slightly spicy tomato juice mix. Very flavorful. A something new for us was the addition of a tamarind straw. It's a plastic straw, covered with a sweet spicy tamarind blend. They actually call it candy. You use it to stir your drink and then nibble on the candy. What a great fun thing to add to a drink. By the way, the Michelada was excellent. I enjoyed licking the tajin seasoned rim with each sip, just like a salted rim on a margarita. Still studying the menu, we ordered the Choriqueso appetizer. The basket came out with fresh fried corn tortilla chips and a bowl of queso cheese with chorizo sausage crumbled into it. Runnier than most cheese dips we're used to, but enjoyable nonetheless. Finally we ordered our meals. Al Pastor Tacos for my wife, Chorizo and Steak Tacos and Quesabirria Quesadilla for my daughter and Caldo de Camaron for myself. In just a few minutes, our delights were delivered and the feast began. All of the meats in the tacos and quesadilla were excellent. Great flavors and no skimping on the meats. Onions, cilantro and self squeezed lime punched up the flavors. The quesabirria come with an au jus style dipping sauce that was perfect. My shrimp soup was spectacular. Easily shareable, but I accepted the challenge to eat this myself. Served with numerous warm tortillas, chopped onions, cilantro and lime, I put it all in. A very light yet flavorful broth and as the pic shows, loaded with flavorful shrimp. I enjoyed every spoonful. A wonderful soup. As with most authentic Mexican restaurants, you are made to feel that \you are their guest. They will never make you feel that you've overstayed and if you want your check, you just go to the register at the counter. Looking forward to our next trip there.

It was nice to sit outside but I think our server forgot about us for a while... The quesabirria and fajitas were very good, but everything else was lowkey a skip. We only wanted a variety of apps so she gave some good suggestions. She was attentive and efficient. The food she suggested: elote, very good! We did get the guac and chips too to use the chips with the elote. That was the problem. The guac was somewhat tasteless, but the chips were very bad. They tasted like they were made in old rancid oil and they make them onsite. They even smelled like old oil. We let her know and she brought a new batch. Still tasted bad. We suggested her to try them and she did and agreed they were not up to par. I felt the grease even coated my tongue. The cornbread was excellent. Because the chips were so bad we got the guac and rest of the elote to go so we can eat at home with some good chips. We got the bill and even though they agreed they weren't as good as normal they still charged us for everything. That is a problem. She should have had them take them off the bill. We still tipped 18% but that isn't good when they don't make it right. We may give them another chance but still charging males that less likely for sure.
