I've only visited the Olde Sweet Shoppe once but was immediately impressed. For one thing is the effort that has gone into both the visual presentation of the store as well as the variety of goods that lies within. Much has been said about the decline of the high street in Tywyn, at one point the story making front page news of the local newspaper.

The other a bag of those sherbet flying saucer thingies you used be easily available when I was younger. They were quite fun and resurrected a little nostalgia from within.

Like I say, this was quite a rushed encounter and I intend to give the place a propper going over sometime this week, I have ran out of white chocolate buttons. read more
