It's a coffee shop. On a corner.
The imaginatively named Coffee Corner is a tiny independent cafe on one of Aberystwyth's quieter streets. It's "nice" in every sense of the word. The owner is nice. The coffee's nice (no better, no worse). The home-made Bara Brith and other assorted cakes? Most accurately surmised as "nice".
Last time I was in the Corner Cafe, the adjacent table was occupied by local Green Party representative, who was quietly discussing her plans to make the world a better place with her policy team (her mum, her uncle and her daughter, as far as I could make out). Ah, isn't that nice? read more
