I needed my new security door installed so I asked around 15 handymen on Yelp and everyone's quote was around the same! I became a little frustrated so I asked for just a little discount and Sid was the only one willing to give me the price I asked for which is very kind of him due to it being my first time using him for this service! When my security door came earlier than expected, I texted Sid if he could come a day earlier and he sent a worker from his team who arrived on time to carefully put together this beautiful new security door within 2 hours. The job was not easy and the door just wouldn't close for the most part, but he kept working hard to figure out the problem and the end result was beautiful-so many compliments and people asking where I got this security door from. Thank you Sid and the hard work your team does! read more

Mr Sid Service - Security Door - Handyman Near Me

Mr. Sid and Nick installed some outdoor Govee lights for us. They were on time, professional, and gave us a good price compared to the few other contractors we talked to. They finished 300 feet of installation within a day in a super cold/slightly rainy weather and carried a smile until the end. The way they installed the lights also came out great. Sid looked at his finished work carefully at the end and I could tell that he took pride in his work. During the installation, I was concerned that they might break our roof tiles. Without me asking, Sid took some before and after pictures for me to provide reassurance. Abt a week ago, some of our lights stopped working and Sid had Nick come out within a few days to fix the broken cord for us. It wasn't their fault, but they took care of it quickly. We are very happy with their service! read more

Our cleaning company operates in Sacramento, and we often need to contact various handymen for minor repairs and maintenance - from replacing door handles to repairing plumbing and lighting. After several unsuccessful experiences with other contractors, we finally found a truly reliable handyman - and now we only work with him. We first hired him to repair cabinets at one of our client's properties. He arrived on time, with a full set of tools, purchased the necessary materials himself, and did everything neatly and quickly. The client, whose house we were cleaning, was very satisfied - and this immediately increased confidence in our work. After that, we called him several times to other properties: to fix door hinges, adjust a sliding door, replace electrical outlets, and even install baseboards in a house after a deep cleaning. Each time, the work was performed at a high level, without rushing, but very organized. It's especially nice that the handyman leaves everything perfectly clean - there's no need to clean up anything afterwards, which is especially important for us as a cleaning service. We would also like to separately mention his honesty and transparency in pricing. He always explains in advance how much everything will cost, with no hidden costs or "additional" payments during the process. We now regularly recommend him to our clients when they ask for advice on repairs or minor work. This is a case where you can confidently say: a reliable, neat, and responsible handyman who is a pleasure to work with. If you are looking for a handyman who truly cares about the result and the client - we highly recommend him! read more

The people that put up our Christmas lights every year actually own a window washing company. But they hung Christmas lights as their side hustle. After years of doing that, they decided to stop doing lights which was too bad because they did a really good job. I found Mr. Sid on Yelp. First, their communication by text was quick and efficient. They showed up on time and worked overtime - in the cold rain! There were some issues getting all the lights on - some of the sections were not lighting up. Finally after going well over-time, I felt bad, so I payed over what they asked - what I thought was fair. The next morning, I noticed a couple sections of the lights were not on. I texted Mr. Sid and I got an immediate reply. It was pouring rain and still, they sent a guy out to remedy the problem. We thought the problem was resolved, but the next morning, again, the certain sections of the lights were not staying on. I texted again, reply was quick. Same guy came back and fiddled here and there and got the lights working again. The lights failed the next morning - again. Long story short, Mr. Sid came out a total of four times, every time in the cold rain. I felt so bad. They never charged me more. They were determined to make it right and they finally did. Polite, professional and super easy to work with. Will hire them again for sure for other work. read more

I highly recommend Pavel (i.e. Mr. Sid). I recently hired Pavel to install a TV mount. Not only did he arrive on time, but he also completed the work efficiently and with great attention to detail. He was professional, friendly, and made sure to clean up after the repairs were done. I was particularly impressed with how he took the time to explain how he was going to install it and then ensured that I was okay with how he would proceed. I hired him again, this time for a different project. I purchased a doghouse from Amazon, and I wanted it to be connected to the dog door that leads out from the house into the backyard. He assembled the doghouse and went to work to attach to the house. This may seem like a small job but believe me it took some time and thought on how to accomplish this task. His work has made a noticeable difference in the comfort of our home. I highly recommend Pavel for anyone in need of reliable and high-quality handyman services." I am sure I will be reaching out to him again for services. read more

Sid and his team came out to install permanent outdoor lights on my house. Sid was great - very responsive and helped advise me on the right amount of lights to get to cover both the top and bottom story. Once I got the lights, scheduling was prompt and his team did a great job for a fair price. We had an issue with a faulty power source on the lights for the second story, and not only did Sid provide me with a detailed description to send to the manufacturer to get a new one, but he also promptly sent a team member out to both troubleshoot and install the updated piece for no extra charge. Our lights look great just in time for the holidays! read more

Mr. Sid is my go-to handyman. He is the best of the best when it comes to customer service and communication. He's all about making sure that things get done correctly.
