We had a clogged rain drain/low point drain backflow valve at our home. Unexpectedly, we needed service on Saturday and were put on a waiting list. Luckily, Brian was sent to our home to look at the issue by early afternoon. After quickly determining the backflow valve was slightly open due to mud/debris from rain drain, Brian recommended that the rain drain be hydro-jetted and cabled to clear line from drain in crawlspace to street. Brian took extra time to educate us on the issues, which was truly appreciated. So many thanks to Brian! Zack Tempone was called and showed up a short time later. Zack worked tirelessly in 90 degree heat going into the crawlspace and then to the street/downspout to hydro-jet and cable the lines. Zack was outstanding in his efforts to assist us, the homeowners. Amazing!!!! They really saved me ~ I had my toilet and my bathtub back up. They had someone out ASAP, Brad was so helpful with explaining everything and getting the job done. AND Brad noticed something "off" in my main line and told me if I didn't get it repaired then I would continue to have issues. They had their excavation manager, Brian, come out; again in a very timely manner and use his camera to determine there was actually a hole in my main line. Brian set me up with a plan to get it fixed along with the email of the video so I could see for myself the hole and where it was located. Excellent customer service All around from Heather and the other receptionist (sorry I can't remember her name) always prompt, professional and got me directed or had people call me back in a timely manner. Only thing I would say is their services are expensive but I feel like with plumbing you can't skimp you get what you pay for in a lot of cases and plumbing is not something you want to skip corners around. We called and had an appointment the next day!! We've had issues with the tub downstairs since we bought our home and have had many different companies come out on multiple occasions just to have the problem resurface months or unfortunately sometimes days after. Bret showed up at the beginning of our scheduled window which was great, listened to what the problem was and gave me my options. We went with the more expensive option since the other, which was to snake it, has already been tried and failed. Within the hour my line was cleared and my soaking tub was draining like the day it was installed (or so I assume :) ) The fact that Bret was able to come over the next day, had the knowledge to fix the issue and actually do so was a very refreshing experience. I had a leaking toilet and broken outdoor spigot. The guys showed up a little early, which I really appreciated because I had multiple home fix it companies scheduled for the same day. Each job was estimated at over three hundred dollars but when the spigot was opened up it turned out to be a very small washer needed to be replaced. Smaller than a dime! Now he didn't need to tell me that or that I should have been listed as an honored customer for the amount of times we've used their company. But he did tell me and waived the charge. As with most people, I don't exactly jump for joy when something around the house breaks that I know will probably cost me more than I can afford. I appreciated what they did for me so much! They also took a look at the bathroom sink because one of the handles is crooked. Who does that these days! Plumbers are expensive to use. There's no way around that fact. But when someone tells you the truth that one job was only a small, worn washer and took about 10 minutes it is pretty darn great! Thanks for everything! read more

We had a line run from the city meter to our home. We had all the water-in pipes replaced and the secondary sewer lines replaced as well. A Mr. Rooter scope specialist made us aware of a small piece of the main sewer line out back that was holding water and likely to fail in the future. They dug it up and replaced it to keep things running smoothly. All-in-all it was a week long job and a lot of work.Everything was done exactly as quoted. The crew who worked on our plumbing was knowledgeable, helpful and extremely kind. Big ups to Brian who championed everything and was here all week dealing with our awful crawl space. His support crew was fantastic as well (though I don't remember everyone else by name). Our water pressure is now amazing and runs like a house 30 years its junior. We are extremely grateful for the excellent service that we received from Dennis Kirby of Mr. Rooter Plumbing tonight! He arrived within an hour of our call as promised. There was no extra charge for being after regular business hours. He was extremely professional and considerate of our home. He quickly diagnosed the problem which turned out to not really be a problem. He left without charging us for the Service call. I was very worried that the off-hour service call alone would be expensive but there was no charge for that. I am also always afraid that a professional might take advantage and find a "problem" just to have a reason to charge us. This was not the case. We had Mr. Rooter out twice in the last month for two different issues with our 70 year old pipes. The first was a nasty back up from the main line. Jason was awesome. He had to come back the next day with a bigger truck and more gear but he was able to solve the problem ( with a lot of hard work ) He was great at explaining every step and did a great job. The second issue involved a clogged tub drain which we had serviced by others three times since July with no lasting success. We thought maybe the P trap needed replacing so they sent their Journeyman Plumber Joel out. After explaining options and costs he thought maybe he could get it cleared. When I discovered my sewer line had backed up I was frantic and didn't know who to call. I looked up plumbing services locally and saw Mr Rooters ad, and gave them a call. The receptionist, Rose was very patient and understanding of my problem and said that she would contact a technician immediately. Within an hour or so a technician, Bradley, arrived at my house and we took a look at my flooded basement. Bradley was very knowledgeable and very understanding of my problem and promptly started to work at unplugging the drain. Success happened, Yahoo! I now have a flowing sewer line. it is still understood that there is more work to do with tree roots and a broken pipe but at least water is not flowing into my basement. I have used Mr. Rooter on several occasions, and have been very pleased with the service. I could get an appointment at very short notice and the technician always arrived when scheduled and did a very good job. I have had mixer assemblies and new faucets installed in both bathrooms, and most recently had them out to clear a clogged bathtub drain. While there, I mentioned that my master bath toilet was not filling quickly after flushing, so the technician looked and said the filler valve was not working properly and would probably fail altogether soon. He was able to give me a discount for that job since he had diagnosed it on the same visit, but had to call a different technician with that particular expertise. I was in a bind !! My home warranty company was dragging their feet,scheduled a tech for Monday Afternoon ?? to resolve my issue, which was a clogged main line, it was a Saturday morning started Friday night (of course, nothing breaks Wednesday morning "LOL" ) both my bathrooms, toilet, showers etc..all backed up. This is the 2nd time I used Mr. Rooter and I am glad I called them again! The first time was amazing, they sent out a very nice young man who helped me work out the issue and gave me all the info I needed to make sure I did not lose money because the problem was coming from the sewer that belonged to the park I live in, and the 2nd time they sent another very nice man who did everything he could to try to save me from losing money until he realized that the problem was indeed bigger than he was thinking initially, but he was so about the customer and was polite and honest and listened to me ramble and I will definitely use them again! It' not usually fun when I have to call a plumber but Chris Moore from Mr Rooter really makes it painless. I have a son that is really rough on plumbing so this is the second time i've had to call to have my sewer line cleaned out in the last 7 months. I asked for Chris specifically since he had done the trouble shooting the last time and he was so helpful. Super good experience! We'd been told we had a leak in our pipes "somewhere", but nobody could tell us how to find it. We tried several methods over several months, but nothing worked. Then I came across an ad for Mr. Rooter that said they could locate leaks under the slab of the house. A patient and professional technician, Nicholas Bobo, came out to our acreage and located the leak within15 minutes! He removed a section of cement to expose the old pipe and then capped it off. (It was no longer functional - the sink in the garage had been removed years ago.) Nick refilled the hole and cleaned up the area. All this by lunch time! If we have any more plumbing problems, we'll definitely call Mr. Rooter. read more

(Blockage) They quickly dispatches Jason Belcher and Jim McDonald first thing in the morning. 1st understand that I myself am a journeyman plumber who is no longer in the business.
