He arrived on time, had an ID, introduced himself. His Sales presentation was excellent and was a credit to this company. He was courteous, complete, knowledgeable and gained our interest. He impressed us, stepped outside to give us time to decide. ( I don't like pushey Salesmen ). We invited him back in and proceeded to make the purchase. The crew led by Mikey, Ivan and Arrow arrived on time. They began to remove the front complete front door in closure and one did the same to the Kitchen Window. The men arrived on time, producing ID, introduction and worked diligently. In a reasonable amount of time for such a large job. When finished, carted all my debris away as well as cleaned the area. We had a great experience from start to finish. Our sales person was upfront and gave us a fair price. They were open and upfront with how long it would take to order supplies and install. On installation day, the guys were friendly, helpful, and literally rolled out the red carpet! The job was complete in 2 days and they never left the house even during breaks. The windows are beautiful and a great high quality. Worth the extra money. We will definitely use again in the future when ready to replace new windows. read more

I am SOOO happy with my new custom front door and side panels. They were expensive. But I wanted something that would last the rest of my life. And it had to be perfect, from the colors to the accent moldings over and around the outside. Wariness surrounded my call for an estimate since I had been warned about the custom window & door establishments. But I had tried several times to order the right door from one of the building supply stores with no success. There were long waits behind other customers. And the associates answered phone calls & questions from other customers when it was my turn. I finally gave up & went home. The opposite was the case with Mr. Rogers. A very pleasant lady came to my house at my convenience. She walked me through every aspect of the door I wanted. She didn't try to press for certain features as the building supply company had done. Meeting my preference was her concern. We went through every aspect of the door & side panels. Voila......The perfect door!! My concern was that there be no change in my inside or outside moldings & decorative wood pieces over & surrounding the door. So she took lots of pictures & of course measurements. It was MY door!! So I immediately put down the required deposit. Later I received a call that they wanted to send a senior employee out to confirm the measurements before they placed the order for my door to be built. Good deal!! Another call came from scheduling to prebook an installation date based on its estimated arrival. This was good also. It took a couple of months but finally the installation date arrived. I'm the only owner of the 34 year old house. My late husband had replaced the door once, but not the side panels. The installation crew found on one side a completely rotten stud. Panic!! But they were prepared. They brought a new one from the truck & told me the wood behind it was fine. Whew.... When they finished I had my perfect door. I couldn't be happier. I love the double dead bolt lock, which is so easy to operate without a key. It's just all perfect!! My experience was great!! There's no doubt that I'll use Mr. Rogers again. read more

Sign clearly stating no soliciting, they knock on your door anyway and record with their phone while at your door! Ilegal in two ways, private property, and filming without your permission. If anyone does this and you have a sign clearly stating no soliciting you close the door on their face at once and report them! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AT ALL! If you want to pay an exorbitant amount of money for a window that is measured incorrectly TWICE and then installed anyways because they didn't actually have the capacity to make a custom frame to fit existing structure (information left out of sales pitch), this is the company to hire! I was willing to pay extra because I was told they could actually do the job. Lesson learned. I have never been this unhappy with a contractor and I've managed commercial and residential properties. Truly a two star vendor contractor... we spent 22000$ on four doors 3 steel exterior entry and one slider. From the day after install until last month that's how long it took to have issues addressed "not fixed". My three entry doors which were " custom measured and built to fit" all were crooked with gaps at the hinges and difficulty opening/ closing. Two of the three had door knobs and locks installed missing parts; Handles would back out and become loose, the lock sets were difficult to use misaligned. Actually ended up trading my high end handles/ locks hundreds of dollars for three from Home Depot which have worked amazing since day one. Provia, Mr. rogers windows and renewal by Anderson all came back with terms like "allowable deviations and tolerable fit". When I attempted to have my issues fixed at the cause. My doors were supposed to be framed from the studs out to avoid this very issue and they were but because one man out of four actually new what he was doing and did most of the work it was sloppy... when the molding was removed the new framing was not square and had foam all around it making it impossible to correct properly without cutting it all out and completely reinstalling it....instead they "snugged it up" and ended up bending the hinges as an "industry standard allowable fix". At the end of the day I could have saved myself 12000 and just gone to Home Depot for it all. The warranties are only as good as those people/ companies that stand behind them and Mr. rogers, Provia and renewal by Anderson all talk a big game but cut corners based on convenience rather than customer satisfaction and outcomes. Steer clear and go somewhere else! The doors are well constructed but if they aren't installed correctly then there is a complete lack of accountability . Absolutely never felt like anyone had my back after they received final payment. read more

I have a very large no soliciting sign on my front door. Their employees still stood on my front porch trying to get my attention through the window for a full 30 seconds for a consultation. They finally gave up and left a flier behind. I went to get it to throw it away several minutes later to find them just sitting and relaxing on my neighbor's lawn. They waved and asked if I wanted them to come back and I said no, I have a sign that says I don't want solicitors. They just shrugged. They just sat on my neighbor's lawn for a good 10 minutes then went to another house that has a no soliciting sign up. Please respect people's wishes for privacy. I actually am in the market for new windows but this is now the LAST company I would consider. read more

Mr. Rogers Windows; had installed twenty-eight Renewal by Anderson Fibrex windows, in my home this week and I have to say at first, I was skeptical about the entire process from A to Z, but they made me a true believer. I was supposed to have Convert Solar install solar panels on my home. I was invited by the Convert Solar sales rep. to attend the home aroma, that occurred back in June located at Hampton convention center. Wouldn't you know Mr. Rogers was the first Kiosk on display when you entered the building, which they were right next to Convert Solar, I was only there to see what panels I was going to have installed on my home. Well, Mr. Rogers caught my attention and won me over, causing me to put my solar panels on hold for a while. Mr. Rogers, I can't say enough about your install crew, these guys were consummate professionals. During the four-day install, the crew leader would call ahead of time stating, they were on their way, after arrival they got right to work removing the old, and installing the new, they were always mindful of keeping our home clean. I'd like to personally thank Shawn Emch, Nash Kahler, and Ryan Howard, their customer service was bar none, the best I've encountered in quite a while. They made sure to put the needs of the customers first. Starting from initial contact, delivery, removal of old windows, installation, clean up, and walkthrough after the job completion each day, making sure there were no issues. This company doesn't allow any flexibility if you have life issues that could change the contract. We signed with them in Feb 22 to have a door and window installed in Sep of 22. In June of 22 I had to move for work and personal reasons. I got custody of my 3 granddaughters and they needed to be in Utah. When I asked if I could just pay for materials and get out of the contract because I sold my house they stated a contract is a contract and wanted me to gift it to the new homeowner. However, this was an $11,000 door and window. I went to the Better Business Bureau and then they would only relent to gifting it to Habitat for Humanity and getting a tax write-off. I couldn't understand if they didn't install it yet why they wouldn't let me get away with the cost of materials. They are not customer friendly at all. Buyer Beware, this business is shady and absolutely overpriced. read more

We had the privilege of San Diego Renewal by Andersen replacing windows in our small Point Loma home in 2022 August. The job from sales to installation to clean-up remained nearly seamless even though we stayed in Va (on the opposite coast) during the actual job. Our salesperson (Nica LaruccI) in SD knew Andersen Windows like the back of her hand (10 years experience at RBA). The end result proved priceless...'absolutely gorgeous! My tenant asked for a paint touch up after we signed " work completed " statement, and the SD team rushed right back to perfect the job! SD=5/5, 10/10...Maybe we had been spoiled, but RBA in VaB on the opposite coast gave an opposite experience. My husband emphasized how he wanted the same RBA technique of removing the old down to the studs to avoid goofy W I D E frames that would look like replacement windows. The salesman in VaB and his trainee (Andrew Rogers) assured us the technique would be the RBA technique that makes RBA unique. The VaB "RBA" Mr Roge'r's promises seemed the same, but they DiD NOT deliver. Larger windows, we're not too bad with the ridiculous why frames, but the smaller windows looked like submarine windows, so we stopped installation after the first of 12. They promised to replace for no extra charge but decided against when we wanted our 60" glider kitchen & dining windows to open more than 5" on each side. We decided we just cannot be pleased !!! They took more than 50% down for green sky financing account, but they have not even done half of the job right. Mr Roger's Windows doesn't deserve to call themselves Renewal by Andersen. Turns out they could have given the same service but decided we did not deserve it because they gave us promotional discounts... A 400 series Andersen would have allowed less goofy frame and the same amount of glass. Ironicall, SD charged us less per window AND provided professional installation as promised.... Call Home Depot and get Andersen 400 series windows for far less and a better price/ outcome! In SD, call RBA ! Do NOT call Mr Roger's Windows in VaB! read more

They replaced all my windows about 8 years ago and a patio door and 2 entry doors about 4 years ago. High quality, no more air and water leaks. noticeable reduction in my electricity bill. More expensive than other companies i interviewed but the quality of product and company's backing was worth the investment and peace of mind. I had a small tree break one of my windows and they came out and replaced it at no cost no questions asked. Nobody does stuff like that these days. The fact that they've been a top rated company in business since the 80's speaks volumes. Products = top shelf. Price = higher end. Experience with this company = priceless. read more

My comment is restricted to the first part of the process which is a sales pitch followed by measurement. The salesman was friendly and competent, nice guy and all, however, just before he started to measure the windows (casement style, 5'x2') he mentioned the average cost per window would be about $1700....each....installed. For me, that ended the conversation immediately. I apologized to him for having to make the trip and I explained that his number was way beyond what I would judge to be reasonable. I don't recommend Renewal by Andersen. Almost any other building scenario will be cheaper. If you can live with a stock size, for example, you can get an Andersen 100 series window, made of the same Fibrex material, for roughly $300, have a carpenter install it, and get out for one third the price. read more

Thanks to Mr Rogers Windows for coming out to my house to check the quality of their installation from 2011. They explained and showed me it was the way the builder built the house, not the installation of the windows. He even offered to pay for the rechaulking of the windows. read more

Cost is very high and work is sub par. Crews out several times for rework with out fixing the issues. Broke all the clips on our valances and used Velcro to fix which did not work. Crew arrived to attach the proper clips and left with only fixing one or two. Come home from vacation to find a number of valances on the floor broken. No Customer Service response just the sales agent who made a big commission on us. Job is still incomplete. read more

Windows were replaced for the whole house. The windows themselves are nice. BUT we were told everything hanging around the windows would be returned to their original position. Simply put they were not -- the blinds no longer come down to the sill leaving a gap, same for the curtains. Workers did damage to several window sills. All of this was reported to the company with no response. They gladly took our money, but they haven't finished the job they started over a month ago. Be leery of doing business with them. read more

I called them for information and their secretary answering had no info on how things were done other than to set up appt. I do so, then within 20 minutes I had a text and an email. Their coordinator called back I tried to explain what I needed by the only thing kept saying is "you want a window?" At least 3 times. I did not answer the phone immediately when she called, so once again left message, email and text I asked they do repairs around the window and again she repeated you want a window. I really wonder about the intelligence of their personnel, they are broken records. So I told them call again and it's harassment, blocked their number and hoping I never hear from them again I needed wood rot replaced around the top of the window and she was so clueless she didn't understand or she was so brainwashed that she is a broken record. I will never deal with them and this is a warning - be forearmed. Go elsewhere!! read more
