Recently our dryer stopped heating out of nowhere. Our warranty unfortunately had not been renewed,…read morewe completely overlooked that so we were unable to use Whirlpool to fix it. We have only ever used them so we had no idea where to look. My wife enlisted Yelp to help us. She put in some request for quotes and received a few back pretty quickly. We had never used that but it was very helpful. Quality Masters was the first to respond and then also took time to message back and forth with her. The other companies were not as friendly and responsive. We also read their Yelp reviews, which we all good, so we figured we would use them. We were able to make the appointment for the next day and were able to do it all through text. It was very simple for us! There was a moment of uncertainty but they were extremely professional and friendly. I was going to be home while my wife was at work, so on the day of our appointment, they were running early. They called asking if early would be ok, so our appointment was moved up. I cannot remember his name, but the technician that came was very knowledgeable and professional. He pinpointed the issue immediately. He discovered our dryer was clogged with lint and the coils were bad. It makes sense since we had never had our vents cleaned. He was able to replace the coils, as well as sucking out as much lint as he could with his tools. Unfortunately, they do not clean vents like that but again, he could help us out with some of it. He also made suggestions as to what else needed to be done, really with just getting the vents cleaned. They also take your payment online either with credit card, for a small fee, or Zelle or Venmo. The invoice will be emailed to you and allow you to pay that way. Personally, we do not prefer to pay for services with Zelle so we used a credit card. It was very simple. I thought overall the price they charged for the coils and cleaning, was very reasonable. It did not cost us much at all. I would definitely use them again, should we need something fixed.

Electrician Robert is by far the best in his specialty. Responded immediately with expedited…read moreservice, detailed quote provided in less than 24 hrs, and even returned 2 days later for an unrelated emergency call! He provided the best price of 3 quotes, and even captured 3 things both other companies overlooked in their estimates, plus one mistake which would have been an increased cost to the HOA. He knows the code and does everything by the book, protecting the interest of the customer, with immediate communication to share his analysis & recommendations. My condo community has used many vendors in a variety of trades, and Robert's knowledge, communication, quick responding and fair prices make him shine above all others. He is the only electrician we will use moving forward. We've counted on him for major projects like full electric panel replacements for multi-unit buildings, plus 2 urgent service calls for other matters. Same day response to all! Highly recommend!

I'm writing a 5-star review for a company I didn't actually do business with…read more A few weeks ago, I had what seemed like an emergency service need for my refrigerator. And, of course, it occurred on a Sunday afternoon. Knowing that the company handling my warranty would not be available for at least a few days, I searched out to companies that were available 24/7. Orlando Appliance Repair was one of those companies. Upon calling, the customer service rep put me in touch with their field-rep, Igor. I described the problem and he planned to show withing two hours or less ... on a Sunday afternoon! My refrigerator came back online and I contacted Igor to make him aware and cancel my appointment. He understood and just simply cancelled my appointment without fuss or cost. If a company can be this prompt and respective to new clients calling on a Sunday afternoon that they would end up not be getting business from that day, I can only believe that their actual work would be first-rate and I would not hesitate to connect with Orlando Appliance Repair for any related needs in the future.

He figured out the problem was the water filter housing and we set up a time to fix it. The visit was $89, and that counted towards the job, so two visit plus parts came out to $250. Not bad since the most expensive appliance in the house is the fridge and we talking 2K-3K, or more. Everything was fixed, JS is very professional and has excellent communication. Also, very clean, and that is important to me. In hindsight, fixing the fridge was a pivot point towards getting a lot of questions answered, and tips about maintenance. Here are a few tips that make total sense to me. 1) Rinse ALL items that go in the dishwasher. 2) Clean the fan behind the refrigerator twice a year. 3) X out/press cancel after microwave beeps. 4) Never fix a microwave, just replace (repair cost as much as microwave). I also asked about the best appliances to buy, and other things.
