I have seen so much improvement in his map test scores after he joined eye level. The Director is also very caring towards the kids. The curriculum they provide was also helpful for my kid to perform better at the school. My child also gained confidence in public speaking since he was able to participate in the oratacular competition and the spelling contest that they offer at eye level. I recommend this center for all kids.

We had high expectations when my child joined GradePower. Reviews and parent recommendations were…read moreexcellent. Unfortunately, for us, the experience was not great. The first few weeks, my child was provided a workbook that was two grades below him on accident. After they discovered this mistake, they quickly moved him to the correct book. However, GradePower did not notify me of this nor did they attempt to make amends for this error. My child never came home with any workbook or items to review once he left their facility. After several months, I asked that GradePower focus on more of the items that my child struggled with versus the items he was already good at. Alex, the owner, agreed, but then the teachers, I feel, still did what was easiest which was not to challenge my child on the difficult items. I never received any feedback from the teachers directly. Unless I asked my child, I did not know what they were working on at any given time. Alex was always available to discuss my child, which was great. He was professional at all times. The front office person was also always pleasant. I think this program does work for the many who reviewed GradePower with high marks. I also think a student who is eager for additional support, may benefit from this program. Unfortunately for us, overall it was a negative experience. As a last comment: I was also disappointed that GradePower continued to require masks after all mandates at businesses and schools had dropped this requirement. When asked about a timeline for them to be "optional", the response was that it would be a very long time. Alex said if it was up to him, they would never come off.

She got pointers that cannot be had from review books or in a class instruction. One on one instruction works. Got some tips in Math as well although she did not need as much help in that area as she was a PA math student. We switched to more English classes than math half easy thru and the center was quite accommodating. My daughter's scores improved more than we had hoped for. Worth the investment.

When our child wanted to go back to public school for high school our district of residence (k-8) was adamant about not complying with direct guidance from the Illinois State board of education regarding eligibility of service. Brandon steped in, and finally, I felt less alone, more heard, more informed. It is a shame we need to hire someone to force public schools to provide for their students, but a blessing that people like Brandon exist. We highly recommend anyone trying to navigate student services get a consultation with Brandon.

I would recommend him to any parent needing an advocate in the school setting for their child.

This place is an absolute joke…read more My child attended classes here. The instructors demanded the students provide gift cards in exchange for the privilege of using notes on exams, even going so far as to specify which gift cards they would accept. Not only is this unethical, but it teaches students that academic advantages can be bought rather than earned. It also discriminates against students that can't afford such gifts! My child also had a negative experience with one of the instructors. During a drive, the instructor screamed at my child and belittled them for asking a question. We were able to get a different instructor for subsequent drives, but the unstable individual that worked with my child is clearly in the wrong profession. I would encourage anyone looking for a driving school to look elsewhere!
