It's not for every night, but I'd be happy to come here on a future trip to Munich.
Arriving to a nearly empty restaurant at 6:15p on a Friday night, my two dining companions and I all opted for the Korean barbecued steak after being guided through the pros and cons. Namely, the entire table must opt for either the a la carte menu, or for the tasting menus for that day; otherwise the dishes can't be timed properly.
I dunno how Korean this steak was, but it was served at an appealing medium rare, and still cooking on the sizzling skillets it came in. It was textured, it was juicy, it was well seasoned. The accompanying onion added balance while not coming across too raw to eat.
And we demolished the banchan. Everything had strong primary flavors, and balance, and still left room in my stomach for the mains. I don't regret blowing my calorie budget one bit.
Inclusive of sparkling water, a bottle of wine for the table, a beer, 3 entrees, and a mocktail, we paid 248 EUR.
