I was satisfied by the selection of the Asian food (i.e. chicken and broccoli, lo mein, ...) although I am used to seeing more back in the US.. I was really impressed by the meat and vegetable selections that they were offering for the Mongolian style dishes. Their meat selections included things like Kangaroo, beef, pork, chicken, as well as multiple types of fish and seafood. They were raw and sitting on ice so that it could be as fresh as possible when brought to the cook. The part that really disappointed me was their sushi selection. I was really craving a bigger selection. They had a few rolls (i.e. tuna, California, and shrimp) but none of them really looked that fresh and appealing. Overall, I might go back to this location for lunch but if I was heading out for a nice Asian dinner I might look for somewhere else.

This was the place I had my first Chinese meal in Germany and, it was ok. I have had the fear of…read moretrying Chinese food in Munich as, most of the places I have walked by, or peeked into don't look so appetizing and, the menus often a bit bland. Finally we decided to give this a try. The restaurant itself is quite big inside and, there are a number of tables outside. The staff are friendly and helpful and the menu had a lot of options, many of which I have never heard of. I thought I would order pikante / Scharf chicken in Sczhewan style to see what hot was like. I also had a hot and sour soup (something I judge almost all Chinese restaurants by). The main course arrived and it was like a schnitzel of chicken on some vegetable and a separate sauce, which was not hot at all. The chicken tasted good and once I added a spoonful of chilli paste it was just right ;-)) the hot and sour soup was not hot or sour and again a spoonful of chilli and soy sauce fixed that ;-)) Overall it was quite ok and I would probably come back here as it close to where we live. Must however, keep looking for great Chinese food in Munich :-))

Bad experience: The…read morefood wasn't nice and the service was bad. We were 4 people. - 3 of us had food that we found too spicy - 2 of the meals were really not nice, and one was very average. One of the meals had rock hard pieces of chicken. - when serving the first two meals the waiter said: You better start eating because the other two meals will still take some time'. It took almost 10 minutes before the other two main courses arrived. - when we finished our food, we waited 30 minutes and non of the staff asked if we wanted more drinks or desert (they were not 'too busy', just seemed uninterested. - the staff seemed untrained in general, but that kind of 'goes together with' a Chinese restaurant. This place was just really much worse than that. The only advantages of this place are - lots of parking spaces - nicely decorated, comfortable seats - clean toilets

We tried the open buffet (@19.90€ each) and took a bottle of water and jasmine tea (together we paid 46,5€). Sushi was ok - fish tasted good, the range was appropriate for a place that does not only focus on sushi. The open buffet itself was perfect - we picked different types of meat and got them cooked right away, picked the sauce and veggies - very delicious! At the end we got few lichees, pineapple, watermelon - also very tasty. The overall experience was very positive, I definitelly recommend this place!

Food - self service for dinner Choice of 4 entrees (I…read morebelieve the menu is changed every day but all dishes are either vegan or organic) For the main dish I tried the vegan chili with couscous, potatoes and rice as add-ons. Portion was ample for one person and in the end I had to ask them to box the rest for take-away (which they happily did). For dessert I tried a flourless almond chocolate cake (yummy but a bit dry for my taste). All desserts are cakes or muffins. But each has a story to it - tiramisu is sugarless and there is one cake which is olive oil based. Drinks - Quite a good variety of drinks - beer, wine, coffee and fresh juice. I had fresh fennel-apple-lemon juice. Was very refreshing and I could smell and taste the ingredients. Although a bit sweet for my taste but overall a very nice drink. Ambience - nice, calm and casual for a quiet dinner. Lighting is dim and relaxing to the eyes Service - cheerful, friendly, no-rush attitude. Bonus for me was that they have English speaking staff. They were very willing to help in order for me to make a choice with the dishes, drinks and dessert. And also to box my remaining food as take-away. Pro - good service, calm relaxed ambience, tasteful food Con - a slight bit expensive for what the restaurant offers. For my dinner: Entree ~11, Juice ~5, Dessert ~4 Recommend this restaurant if you are local. I am looking forward to try out the buffet next time I am here.
