I've been waiting to make this review and was trying to allow this company to provide me with any form of communication but am at the point it seems to be a lost cause. I was charged $250 for a simple job of getting my car door open to retrieve the key that got locked inside. In my opinion $250 seems fairly unreasonable, but didn't bother me so much as I planned on submitting this to my insurance for a reimbursement. However, after calling the dispatch number MULTIPLE times to have the tech reach out to me to provide an invoice, I never received any form of communication. The tech BLOCKED my number from being able to call them, my wife called and was told an invoice would be sent to her. Never received and her number got blocked as well. My insurance even went as far as to call Mr. Lock to have an invoice sent directly to them and they were blocked as well after initial contact. How this company has 5 star reviews is beyond me as I have had nothing but a horrid experience for something so simple. The only "good" part of this experience is that the service was actually done and that's about it. Overcharged, zero communication, and terrible customer service. I typically don't write reviews, but felt this needed to be said as I chose this company for their online reviews and can't fathom why my experience was the complete opposite of what I saw. I do not recommend this company and urge other to proceed with caution. read more

Had Mr. Lock out to open one lock and said it would be $75. After unlocking door said amount was $175!!! I said ok gave credit card and then checked my account two days later and the charge was $190.10!!!!! Called and spoke with a person by the name of Gloria and she spoke with supervisor? and said that they were sorry that it was charged. I asked for $115. back on credit card and she stated it would be done. They said they really sorry that it happened BUT HERE IT IS 5 DAYS LATER AND MONEY HAS NOT BEEN RETURNED!! I called to day and person seemed unaware of this transaction!!!!!!!!!! Stated he would check into it and call me back! We Shall SEE! I called back over 15 minutes later! Call went to voice MAIL. Scam Artist is what this group is. Now what can I do to get my money BACK from this group??????????? Better Business Burea does nothing. I will see if I can get money back by contesting the amount with bank. read more

I call and was told the price is $40 for the service call and $55 for the work. The man showed up and open the truck very quickly and i was very pleased until he told me the price is $325. I asked him why and he told me to file it on my insurance to get my money back. I asked him why the big increase on the price and he said I have to pay him to drive out and back and it is a 40 mile trip to my house. I still think they are cheating people because there was no mention of a price increase over the phone and it was not brought up before he did the work. They are cheats! read more

Needed a locksmith in the middle of the night was about 10:30 11:00 p.m. I sent out a request via Yelp and immediately got a response back from Mr Lock. I believe the technician's name was Omar I could be wrong, Omar was fast and responsive, friendly was in constant contact with me, arrived on time, amazing service, not to mention for being an after hours call and everything the price that I was charged with incredibly affordable even with it being an after-hours call late at night and all of that it was still 200 and something dollars cheaper than going to a dealership and getting it cut and programmed.. He was able to cut and program my key within maybe 10-15 minutes it was pretty cold out and he sat out there with the truck and did what he had to do. The value of service was way BEYOND my expectation I will definitely be recommending and using Mr Lock in the future. In my opinion you cannot go wrong with going with Mr Lock for any of your locksmithing needs! read more
