While the bartender was closing out my tab, there was apparently a glitch with the system. Before the bartender even had a chance to re run my card let alone explain what was happening, the doorman came running over to me about my card issue and was looking directly over her shoulder at my card transaction/tab information from behind the bar. I genuinely don't understand why a doorman would have such easy access to customers payment information or tabs in the first place!!! Seeing someone who isn't handling my transaction looking over the bartender's shoulder at my card made me extremely uncomfortable and raised serious concerns about privacy and security. I've been a regular customer, which is why this was especially disappointing. I came in expecting to have a couple of beers and a relaxing Tuesday night, and instead left questioning how securely my payment information is being handled.

I had gone there 5-10 years back, can't remember exactly, as that evening and experience was completely different. Fast forward I was given a delicious well priced steak and amazing mashed potatoes. The only critique was that there was no steak sauce (salt and pepper would have been nice too), which I thought crazy being a steakhouse and serving such an epic steak. Perhaps if it were my establishment I would prepare a signature "Mansion" homemade steak sauce, that would really have been a nice surprise and easily executed. Then it could be bottled and served as a memory to customers, a reminder that they take pride in their steak and is inline with the luxury established by the brand and would elevate even further. I kindly asked to speak with the DJ to make a request. I was escorted to him and he was able to provide the most excellent service. He continued to turn it up showing his ability as not just a DJ but a true performer and the lifeblood of the party. A huge portion of the greater Springfield area comes out to mingle, drink, and just spend time with great company. From Sammy's awesome parties, events, and guest stars to the naked men on the bar-- I would highly recommend X Room to anyone looking for a clean place to meet great people and simply have a blast.
