While the bartender was closing out my tab, there was apparently a glitch with the system. Before the bartender even had a chance to re run my card let alone explain what was happening, the doorman came running over to me about my card issue and was looking directly over her shoulder at my card transaction/tab information from behind the bar. I genuinely don't understand why a doorman would have such easy access to customers payment information or tabs in the first place!!! Seeing someone who isn't handling my transaction looking over the bartender's shoulder at my card made me extremely uncomfortable and raised serious concerns about privacy and security. I've been a regular customer, which is why this was especially disappointing. I came in expecting to have a couple of beers and a relaxing Tuesday night, and instead left questioning how securely my payment information is being handled.

It was a "second bachelor party" of sorts. Scruples is the strip club that you see on movies and television. That is, depressing movies and television. Very little fanfare, lots of Eastern European girls who hate you and their life, and overpriced drinks. Plus a guy who was a dead ringer for George "Buck" Flower. (He's in just about every John Carpenter movie from the 80's as well as Back to the Future. He usually plays a hobo) Anyway, Scruples is that place. So many of these reviews seem written by either competitors or friends of the club, so you have finally found the objective and informative review you've been looking for. My wife and I went on a Saturday night when they had an adult film star dancing and signing autographs and whatnot. As we approached the building we were greeted by a very friendly security guard. We had called ahead of time to inquire about cover and dress code (no printed Ts or sweatpants...look nice. Button down, nice jeans of slacks, etc) and were let right in without a problem. The girl who took our cover fee ($20 for me, no charge for my wife because women do not get charged cover here) was also friendly. I asked about private dance prices but she said the girls would help me with that. The way the club is situated, there is a stairway as soon as you get in on your left that leads down to a cigar lounge. Straight ahead and a few steps up is the top floor and main stage. The music was loud, but not too loud. The atmosphere was great. Everyone was having a good time. There were your usual group of guys standing on the outskirts watching while a smaller handful of guys intermittently walked closer to give/throw money to the dancer. There were A LOT of girls here, and I mean girl patrons...usually who came along with their boyfriends or guys they knew. It was the best ratio of guys to girls I've ever seen at a strip club and it made the atmosphere nicer and more fun. Girls were tucking bills into the dancer's g-strings, throwing money, having a great time. It all resulted in a great environment in which to have some fun. Then one of the features came out. Her name was Toniann and she was amazing. One of the most talented exotic dancers I've ever seen. Girl belongs in Cirque du Soleil. She came out in sexy thigh high white boots that helped her grip the pole and within seconds she was 15 feet up the friggin pole. She had a beautiful tattoo of angel wings on her back, and while that's usually not my thing (large back tattoos), it didn't matter because she was sexy af. Her alone would have been worth the cover charge. She was a true entertainer and she absolutely cleaned up out there...well, the guy in charge of sweeping up the tips technically cleaned up, but you know what I mean (he actually gets a percentage from the girls). The adult star came out a little later but that was much less impressive, imo. Toniann was the real deal. On to our lapdance. We had been waiting patiently to find a girl who we wanted to give us a (semi) private dance in the backroom, and finally that girl showed up. She was beautiful and her name was Milana (spelling?). She walked right past us and I turned to my wife and said "damn...I think she's the one". The girl was wearing big heels but was still tall. She had beautiful hair and a great body. Nice, tight big butt (not too big), nice tits, and a small waist. She was lightskinned black I think, and what made her particularly attractive was that she genuinely seemed like she was having a good time. It was then her time to be on stage. She danced pretty well, and showed us attention as we were one of those who were freely giving her bills. She took my wife's hand at one point and put it on her butt on stage which was pretty hot. After her dance, we flagged her down and asked her about a private dance. $30 each for a total of $60. I'm not sure what the rules are about touching, but there didn't seem to be many rules. We were grabbing her everywhere, although my wife was kinda shy about touching her. She had to be prodded by Milana...it was kinda cute, actually. Anyway, it was a great dance. We tipped her, and left. She was never pushy in any way, nor were any of the girls that were there that night. It was a stark contrast to the time I spent in Vegas at the Hustler club where all the girls were pushy. I would 100% recommend this place if you're looking for a great time.
