I would not recommend this company! Called for a house lockout. He arrived within 45 min of my call. Poor quality service. He struggled to get my back door opened with a handle lock and deadbolt. Had to go to my second door which had an old latch and lock on it. Had to drill it out and then still struggled to get it open. "Replaced" the lock he drilled out and then couldn't actually get it to lock and unlock properly before he left. I asked if I could have the lock replacement fee waived and he told me no. So I was charged the lock out fee and fee for the new lock that DOES NOT FULLY WORK. On top of all that when I went to the back door he said he "couldn't get unlocked" it was unlocked!! He just didn't try to actually open it. read more

Had a cracked watch crystal replaced. He did a great job on the watch crystal except the second hand was bent and the watch didn't run after they worked on it. But otherwise I had GREAT SERVICE. read more

If there were 10 stars he would get all 10! Some buddies and myself lost our keys at silver lake ORV park right before we had a 11 hour drive back home. John came out on a Saturday and drove over to pick up the truck key from the dealer and then a hour and a half one way to unlock the truck and program a key! Brought an ignition switch in to get a key removed that broke off in there. It still worked when I brought it in. Now it doesn't work and make matters worse. They wore off the numbers for the wiring diagram to replace it and created a whole new level of problem. Thanks guy. read more

Very helpful and honest service! Thought we needed new key fob to be programmed, but they were able to fix the old one.

I purchased a vehicle that had a key only for the door and ignition (no fob for locking etc.). The seller gave me two fobs and told me I could get them cut and programmed. I tried one shop that was going to charge me a fortune then realized he couldn't work with those fobs. He told me about Mr. G's and I am so grateful. John cut the keys and then tried to program them. They were junk keys and wouldn't work. He came up with a better solution that gave me what I needed at half the cost the other place was going charge me. I needed a duplicate key for a gun safe, the gentleman informed me the complexity of safe lock keys but he promptly cut one for me, and informed me that if it didn't fit to return. After a 12 hour overnight shift, nothing has felt so glorious as getting into a house you were locked out of so that you can sleep. Never have I been so impressed with a service I've found via Yelp. Stopped into Mr. G's Keys and More to have a high security key fob for my car reprogrammed. The Toyota dealership wanted $360.00 for a new fob and said they would not reprogram my old one. When I showed it to the owner, John, he said "No problem" and got to work on it. $45.00 later I am out the door with my key fob working properly. This locksmith is a class act. They are amazing! I lost my car key and I went to the dealership to make one. Unfortuantly the key had to be programmed to the car, and that meant I would have to tow my car an hour away to a dealer. Mr. G's keys made the hour drive to program my key, and was able to make me a second one and program that as well. They were fast and way more affordable than the dealership. Don't even know where to start. I stopped in at 11am after looking at their hours online saying they opened at 10am only to find out his shop was open but he was not there and the gentlemen that works in a attached workspace said he didn't know when he would be in. I called on Mr. G's cell phone to see when he would be in for a simple watch link removal and never got a call back.......all day. Next day I call before I go and talk to Mr. G on the phone asking about hours and cost of what I needed done, I ended the phone call w/ I will be in sometime soon. Get to the shop and believe it or not he was not there again. I called him and told him I just spoke to him and he said he would probably be in later but he was watching his son. I told him I just spoke to him and that would have been nice to know...........he became very upset and said he had to watch his son and that his other person that knew how to provide the services his shop clams to provide just quit. I again stated that would have been good to know over the phone before I drove in a second time and mentioned that I never got a call back from his cell the day before........he said he lost it even though that was the same number I just called again. I don't understand how a business has a store front with out ever having someone there to provide the services you market. read more
