Every year we look forward to getting our Christmas tree from Mr. Greentree, and we always leave there with a beautiful tree and big smiles! Their tented setup and tree selection are well-lit and ideal for all tree types, sizes and budgets, and they always have some truly magnificent trees on offer. Just as important to the shopping experience is the wonderfully helpful staff that compliments the wide selection and great prices with their friendliness, speed, and expertise every single time. There is also plenty of parking space right on the lot, and the superhelpful staff always makes sure your tree is neatly packed, safely loaded up, and secured. Delivery is also available for a fee. Mr. Greentrees has been and remains hands down THE most satisfying Christmas tree shopping experience we've had anywhere in California. The clean, well-lit and tasteful setup, the wide selections and reasonable prices every year, the awesome staff, the ample parking, even the lovely scent of pine in those tree-filled tents.... Yep, we will most definitely keep coming back for more. Highly recommended! Thank you Mr. Greentrees, and Merry Christmas! read more

We bought a silver-tip Nobel Fir and it's simply stunning! The tree was reasonably priced and the staff were super friendly and fast. The tree was loaded on top of our car by the time we had paid for it. Super efficient! Extra shoutout to the two girls at the checkout area too - they were super friendly, helpful and full of Christmas cheer. Enjoyable service from start to finish! read more

This past week my family and I came in to purchase our Christmas tree for the second consecutive year from them. Each time we've had good experiences. Really good & friendly customer service on the floor with the tree guys. And decent customer service from the front crew including a gentleman named Ben. Ideally I'd like better pricing but their also not the most expensive. Especially since we came back another year but oh well. If you're looking for a good tree their a good place to look. Always a good selection of numerous sizes. If you're local & looking for a tree, check them out. read more

Mr Greentrees - Tree Time! - Nurseries & Gardening Near Me - West Hollywood, California

Great and helpful team for all your Christmas needs. Huge selection and quickly delivery.

The people who work there are friendly and helpful but yes, as others have commented they are way overpriced. The current cost for the smallest (5-6') tree is $150. Delivery starts at $65. I live three blocks away and that would have been the cost. This one is more convenient being so close but still, I'll return to tree farm at Hollywood & Highland. The last two years I've gotten an 8' Douglas fir for $100 w delivery. Hope this helps! (I wish some had posted prices for me & saved me a trip) read more

Super easy, friendly people, great options...even late in the game! Big bonus, delivery for a reasonable rate.

I can't recommend Mr. Greentrees based on my experience. They seem to inflate the measurements of their trees, which feels deceptive. As of 11/29, there's no posted price list, and the prices appear to be arbitrarily set on the spot. Their prices are at least double what you'd pay at Mr. Jingles for trees of the same height, in part because they inflate the height. If you're looking for transparency and fair pricing, I'd suggest going elsewhere. Also, they close early occasionally. For a business that set their own schedule, I found it unusual that they'd close the first time we arrived when we arrived 45 mins prior to their stated closing time. read more

Great selection and very helpful staff. The wreaths they make are wonderful! We love coming here!

Always has a great selection of healthy trees and great customer service! We come every year!

We found a beautiful tree at their West Hollywood location. The staff was terrific and kind. They delivered the tree to our house with zero hassle. After decorating the tree, we found that the water pan had cracked. Within an hour, someone from Mr. Greentrees arrived and helped to get a new water pan on and had two of their decorators come to re-dress the tree. Above and beyond in their response. Amazing experience. read more

THE BEST!! Nice and quick- will definitely be back next year! Loved the options and can't wait to share with friends!

The best place to get a beautiful, fresh Christmas tree in LA. I appreciate Mr Greentrees gets their trees from sustainable farms. Our family tradition is to get our tree the day after Thanksgiving, so I cannot wait to find the perfect tree. read more

Great service and very helpful staff... the trees were all great and they loaded it and everything! Very happy!

So happy I got my tree here!!! Was very quick and the staff is super helpful and nice!

I am so disappointed by this vendor. We have been customers for years but as soon as there was an issue this year when they delivered a broken tree with a huge gap on top they had no solutions other than for us to pay another $55 for delivery on top of the $250 that we had already and get a different tree. On top of all this they had a very rude and unfriendly tone. read more

My brother and I take our families Christmas tree shopping every year. So we fallowed sign to this tree lot so we stopped in it was a big beautiful tree lot super organized and clean so it seemed ..once we got it and started looking at trees inside the tent I couldn't help but notice a feces smell maybe from a dog? That wasn't the worst part my brothers son kept itching and then we pulled him out into the light he had bug bites all over !!! So gross. Needless to say the staff was not no helpful it felt like a processing plant all business no small mom and pop feel read more

This is a beautiful tree lot, with some of the most amazing trees I've ever seen! We went the day after Thanksgiving with high hopes of purchasing a tree and we were luckily talked out of it by on of their managers. He claimed that it was a tad too early to purchase a tree and have it guaranteed to hold all its needles until Christmas, let alone New Years (I think he was afraid of getting a negative Yelp review). This was quite odd, since the only variety he had were Noble Firs, the kind of trees that last the longest. He recommended coming back in a week or two for a fresher tree. Well, we were not in the mood to wait so we asked how much for the 5'-6' tree standing next to us was. He said with a straight face $150. I nodded and took a moment and before I knew it he was giving us this spiel on how these trees are hand selected from the finest tree farms in Oregon and that if you want a cheaper tree go to Home Depot. I was thankful for his blunt honesty, because I'd have to get my head examined if I were to drop $150 for a tree (and another $25 for the mandatory tree stand they sell you). Anyhow, my girlfriend and I decided to go to Lowe's in mid-city (nicer than Home Depot) and found a huge assortment of fresh trees from the exact same Oregon tree farm for $49 for a 6'-7' Noble Fir. The 5'-6' trees were $35. Tree stand optional ... good thing since we already have one. Our tree is absolutely beautiful and just as amazing as any tree at Mr. Greentrees if not nicer. It's properly filled out, all the needles are thick, robust and full of moisture. This is probably the nicest tree I've ever had and well worth the extra 20-minutes of driving. Oh, and Lowe's also has strands of 100-lights for $2.99. I'm not bitter at Mr. Greentrees but happy that they recommended purchasing from a different source. Sure I live 2-minutes from their location but I saved over $125 by just driving 5 miles down the road and purchasing from a tree lot that doesn't cater to egos and status. Money saved and I still got a beautiful & healthy tree (from the same farm). I hope this helps! read more

As another reviewer states this is not a inexpensive Christmas tree lot. However our family has supported them for a long time. The selection of trees is awesome, from different varieties,to sizes, and the trees are the freshest I have come across.Plus they take good care of them and most are shaded under a tent so as not to accelerate the drying process of the sun. A way of looking at it is, if you purchased a amazing flower arrangement from a local florist for the holidays it would be very expensive and only last a week or so.There trees have been almost heartbreaking to recycle at the end of the holiday because they still look great. There are several lots in our area, and some just as pricey, and others more like retail outlet pricing.I prefer the customer service here and the quality. To say they are a rip off is a bit harsh, since its all subjective any way. Returned again, beautiful selection this year.Found a great fraser fir along with some great customer service, 12/11/13. read more

Love visiting Mr Greentrees every year! The staff is always super helpful, friendly, and knowledgable about their selection - which is about as close as I can get to being home in Oregon without actually going home to pick out a tree. Also was really excited to pick up our custom wreath for the fourth year in a row! They always turn out great and last well :) read more

If you're someone who enjoys burning your money at nightclubs, you'll love this place! I laughed out loud when they told me the prices. $250 for a 7ft tree that'll die in a few weeks?? COOL! I was happy with my trees and the staff. They were helpful and they tied the tree on top of my Escalade for me. I bought a 7 foot tree for $250 dollars. The price is expensive and the location is convenient to my house in Beverly Hills and I didn't feel like driving all the way to Lowe's to get the same tree for less money so .... overall a good experience. If this tree lasts till Christmas I'll change my rating to more stars. Today is Dec 1. We will see..... read more
