It went bad, quickly, several days before the printed expiration date, and they refused to return my money. The gas is Texaco, which is usually my first choice. However, they have neglected to take care of the pumps, and they're usually full of cobwebs, with screens that are hard to read.

It's is a giant travel center with 100 gas pumps and a store that easily rivals the size of a Target. The selection is overwhelming in the best way possible. They have everything from rows of candy, jerky, and fresh-roasted nuts to warm brisket sandwiches, fresh fudge, and endless other treats. They have clothes and sporting equipment and tots and other stuff too. Pretty sure only about 1% of the total food offerings could be considered healthy, but they sure are good! Between the hot food counters, novelty snacks, and merchandise, it is nearly impossible to leave empty-handed. We ended up buying several hundred dollars of pure joy on this trip. They did kick out tiny dog out who was in a backpack but I goes those are the hygiene rules. No star deduction. If you are driving through Texas and need fuel, snacks, or just a unique road trip experience, stopping at Buc-ee's is mandatory.

I like the coffee bar especially because there's an assortment of cold and hot coffee that you can dispense yourself. I'm always treated with good customer service on most of my interactions. Their reasoning was that they bagged their own ice so they can limit how much ice every person wants to purchase. We are not living in a country where we have to limit the amount of ice they can be purchased because there's only so much ice to go around. They have what five six six full containers of ice outside their store and they bagged their own ice. It doesn't sound like good reasoning to me. Besides, I'm going to buy my ice somewhere else now and I'll probably buy my gas and everything else as well. They're upgrading their store on the inside and putting all new furnishings. I hope they get their money from other things other than ice.

The one pharmacist on duty is too busy giving injections to work on prescriptions. When someone has surgery they should be able to get there prescriptions a little more quickly than several hours with constant delays for each time the pharmacist is too busy elsewhere. After surgery antibiotics are extremely important and also keeping the pain from slamming back. Well now 6 hours later still no medication for my family member.
