I truly wanted to give Mr. Gattis 5 stars, I have been eating here since I was young, brought my kids here when they were young, had birthday parties here, little league celebrations here, you name it, but a couple of things kept me from doing so. First the bad: 1. Their prices are outrageous now. I get things have gone up, but two buffets with drinks is almost $30 - how can a family afford to come here now? 2. The employees who were working on Wednesday night were not very friendly, especially the one with long hair wafting in the breeze as he walked around. It really seemed like a bunch of high school boys just goofing off, they barely smiled, and the one seemed to have a chip on his shoulder the size of Mt. Rushmore (the one with long hair). There was one guy who was friendly as we were leaving but I don't know if I saw him prior to that time. Usually there is an extremely nice gentleman working, he always smiles, doesn't know my name but recognizes me from all my years patronizing the restaurant, and he truly is just cheerful and welcoming. Also the owner is super nice. She has done soooo much to continue to update the restaurant, the games, the seats, you name it! Now for the good, actually the great! 1. Per the norm, the restaurant was clean and bright. 2. The food on the buffet was hot, fresh, and always stocked (so even though the boys might have been goof offs they were working on something). The mac and cheese was super fresh and my daughter said it was the best she had ever had there. 3. The games were updated and fun. There was a new VR game and the game room was clean. There was a variety of games for most ages, and everyone seemed to be having fun. 4. The pizza was delicious, and exactly what I expect when I go there. Since moving away, Gattis is one of the go to places as soon as I touch down because it has so many good memories, and it's comfort food. It always sucks when you go back to a place you used to frequent to "relive" a moment and it's not what it once was - but Gattis always delivers and the cheese sticks and pizza are still the same and still great. read more

A local staple Mr Gatti's isn't just for kids. Although, when not COVID impacted they do have a very nice kid's game area. Our grandkids love it! The buffet is always well stocked. Pasta-pizza-salad-dessert, you won't leave hungry. If you have a craving or a dietary requirement, they are happy to feel your request (think crustless pizza....who knew). Not feeling like tackling the buffet, there are lots of menu selections. The buffet option has been modified to accommodate CDC guidelines. Food is served to your plate by a server for Customer safety Currently KY doesn't permit in house dining. Mr. Gatti's has stepped up their take out service to accommodate the situation. read more

My wife and I paid a visit to Gatti's with children and grands from out of town and enjoyed our visit for pizza and games. Nice small town vibe and friendly staff. Pizza is quite pedestrian, as is the salad bar, but prices are low and we were not expecting a gourmet experience. Kids enjoyed the game room, and again staff were helpful, but some games were quite dated and a few were in need of repair. Some repairs, refurbishments, and some upgrades to the pizza would result in a better experience. read more

This was not my first visit today, but it was still a good one! The staff here is always so kind and willing to get the customers anything they would like. I came to Gatti's around noon and the buffet was stocked well and full! They have renovated the inside and the interior looks so much more pleasing and gives off an amazing small town vibe. I love eating here and will continue to eat here. I say its very family friendly and a good deal for the price. read more

Food is good. Service is great. It's the best pizza buffet in Morehead. Best cheese sticks of any pizza place in town.

I have been coming to Gatti's since my siblings and I were kids. And I am now bringing my own children here. I love being able to come in, sit down to relax and eat with my family and then get up and have fun in their game room. Even as an adult if I come in to eat I have to keep tradition and play at least one of their games "Hopping Harry" I think is the name. The only negative thing I can think of is their sauce is a little on the spicy side so it can be tricky getting my kids and other kids to eat the pizza. And when the employees have had a busy day they can get a little snippy but are usually really nice. And could a better/quicker cleaning crew. Our visit was terrible! My husband, mother and 3 grandchildren thought we were going to have an easy, enjoyable, not expensive lunch. We had traveled for an hour to visit with family meeting there. The Morehead Mr. Gatti's showed on their website that a child receives a free buffet with the purchase of an adult buffet. 3 adults = 3 child buffets. NOT TRUE! We even brought it up on own phone to confirm. The worker said the manager knew that was stated on the website but had never corrected it and she could not honor their ad. Our lunch cost instantly doubled. It gets worse, we purchased tokens for the kids to play a few games. Part of the games took the tokens but would not work; others worked but didn't give tickets, and the machine that counts the tickets took the tickets from the kids and the receipt printed each child had 10 tickets even thought they had many more. Favorite pizza place in Morehead. Eat here everytime we come to the movies! Really enjoy it.

We were on a lake trip - thought we'd stop in for Pizza. The entire family hungry from day on the lake.. REALLY GOOD and fast. I am not a fan of buffets, but this place was clean, customer service really good. I'll go back again when we go boating next summer. read more

Good most of the time if pizza is fresh, they will make you what ever you want, so that's a plus the salad bar is fresh and clean. Game room is pretty nice good selection of games for such a small town. The price for buffet is pretty good around 8$ I enjoyed it friendly staff and big screen tvs. read more

Stopped here on the way home on the weekend and wish I would have kept driving. First let me say I love Gatti's pizza, it has always been one of my favorites since I was a child. This place was just bad and did not feel clean. The pizza was not of the quality I have become use too at other locations. The staff was friendly, but that was the only positive I could find. read more
