Great service, super friendly, and reasonable price. They got the areas are hard for me to clean on my own. I got the premium wash for $45 for a compact car. Prices were as stated on the website. You can pay and tip with cash or credit. There is a little room to sit that can hold about 7 people if you want to sit right next to each other, otherwise it's about 3-4. The corner lot holds about 2-4 cars at a time. there was no wait for me on a Thursday afternoon. I would do a 2-in-1 Mr. Ecowash and 7-Mile House lunch trip again. read more

Small, tight space, but they are incredibly fast and do a high quality job. My car came out spotless and the team was very efficient. It is a bit more expensive than other local spots, but the speed and thorough cleaning make it worth the premium price. Highly recommended if you want a professional wash without the long wait read more

reached out to this company to schedule a full-service car wash and was given a price over the phone. When they arrived, I was told that the price I was quoted was only for the exterior wash. I was then quoted an additional charge--more than double the original price--just to vacuum the interior and wipe down the dashboard. This did not even include any interior dressing, leather conditioning, or additional detailing services. When I asked the gentleman to explain and break down the additional charges, he gave me a bad attitude instead of providing a clear explanation. At that point, I decided not to have the service performed. I'm glad I asked questions before allowing them to proceed. In my experience, the pricing was misleading and the customer service was disappointing. I would recommend getting the complete price and exactly what is included in writing before agreeing to any service. read more

My first experience at this great neighborhood carwash was a complete detail for interior and exterior, a big splurge for my husband's birthday. Everyone was super nice, and they took so much care and time (4hrs!). Our workaday, much-used old wagon hadn't looked that good since the day we bought it! Since then, we've gone back for regular washes, which are much quicker lol but definitely still worth the money. Love these guys! read more

Professional service. They pay great attention to details and that makes a difference!

Finally brought my car to get a car wash after a while. This place is pretty small, but seems they have their system to run pretty effectively. Appointment at 1pm, waited about 25mins since still have three cars in front of me, got a premium car wash ($45 + tips) and we got out about 2pm, I am happy that they did a good job for cleaning my car! read more

It's the off the beaten path, but they do a great job power washing my exterior and taking the grime off my rims which other places don't do, so I don't mind the trek. The premium wash includes vacuuming and hand wiping down interiors plus shampooing my removable carpets. Staff friendly and efficient. Expect the premium wash to be at least 45 minutes. There is a seating area inside with about three seats. Cash or cc accepted. Took off one star bc although they did good cleaning the opening of my trunk, water and debris got all over my items :( read more

Good value at $45 for inside and outside hand wash and vacuum. Fairly quick if not busy. Not lot of place to sit if busy

One of my favorite spots in the city for a car wash. I love that it's a hand wash because the ones at gas stations just don't do it justice and I don't have the equipment to give my car a proper carwash. They start off with a power wash, then someone scrubs the car in soap, then it's washed off with the power wash again. You move your car to another area, and that's when you get out of the car. The workers dry the car on the outside, vacuum the inside, wash your weather tech floor mats (and dry it before you get your car back), and wipe the windows on the inside. It's very attentive to detail and I love how my car smells and feels after coming here. They do get pretty swamped and the wait does take a while but it's highly worth the wait. You can book an appointment online but the last few times I've been, it doesn't really matter as everyone just lines up and waits their turn. I owe a Subaru and the total came out to be $55! Great value! read more

Odd spot for a car wash / but maybe that's how it is in the city? Guys did a great job! I will go again.

This place was perfect! Quick and easy and so conscientious. I was very happy with the price for the service (I just got an outside wash) and the cost felt really low to me. The service was so quick and the people were all nice :) will be back asap read more

Paid for premium, they cleaned outside okay, wash stains on the back windows though. Inside was barely cleaned, didn't vacuum sides or clean things like cup holders. read more

I took my Model Y in for the premium wash and was pleasantly surprised by the service. They did a quick but thorough clean of the exterior and interior. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. Finding a car wash in San Francisco is surprisingly hard. Most places are mobile wash/detailing only it seems, even more so after the pandemic. It makes sense as this is a convenient option with less overhead (literally) for the business but it doesn't always work logistically. I was happy to find Mr Ecowash at the recommendation of someone as my car desperately needed a wash. I called ahead and was happy they said I could come in without an appointment (you can make them on their site but they didn't have any for the next day when I checked the day before). It wasn't too busy when I went but there were a few cars and it probably makes sense to call ahead or make an appointment, just in case. They have various options; since my car did need a bit more attention I went with extra interior detail which came with an exterior wash also. Overall, they did a good job. In particular, the interior looks good with most things nicely vacuumed and cleaned. The seats had also been cleaned and shampooed well. There was some room for improvement, especially on the exterior. Some water spots and missed areas (a few minor missed things on the inside too but much less so) and a couple places that were either missed or not given enough attention that I was able to fix myself with a towel and some elbow grease. Overall, I was pretty happy though. The price is similar to what I've paid elsewhere in the Bay Area and the outside only hand wash at $25 seems pretty good ($20 more gets you vacuuming and interior wiping down too). I'd probably come back for their Premium Wash which is the $45 basic inside and outside wash and see how that is. They had no issues with my Tesla which is something I always try to look for in Yelp car wash reviews so I thought I'd mention that for anyone looking for a car wash specifically for that. One note is there isn't any seating or place to wait. But the T muni is like half a block away so you can take that somewhere (my car took 2+ hours so that's what I did) and there are a few places that are within 10 minute or so walking distance you can wait at too. Or if you don't mind chilling on the sidewalk, there are some nearby public benches too. read more

I came on a Friday and luckily missed the line. They can get pretty busy on weekends so I would recommend coming before noon. I got an exterior basic wash for $25 which is a pretty good deal considering that they hand wash their vehicles. I was in and out in about 15-20 minutes! The service was excellent and I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a fast and easy wash. read more

I hadn't washed my car in 3 years and there was a decent amount of gunk outside and twigs inside... found Mr Ecowash when I was looking for car washes that had manual washing as well as interior vacuuming, and I dropped by late on a weekend when I had time (though their website does allow reservations if you plan in advance.) They have an efficient setup with 2 people soaping and rinsing at one station, followed by a separate area where another 1-2 people dry the car and 2 people vacuum the interior if requested. My car is now sparkling clean for a very reasonable price! I plan on washing my car more frequently from now on, and I'll definitely come back here. read more

Quick, clean, efficient and priced very well. Can't really ask for more. I've driven by this place for years and finally stopped by today for a quick handwash. True handwash only places are hard to come by for some reason, but I'm happy I finally decided to stop in since Tesla's are usually not automatic carwash friendly. read more

Great value. Hardworking crew. I got the premium wash and they didn't miss a spot inside and out.

I thought they did a great job! It's a nice fill service car wash in the 35-45 dollar range.

Oh wow, where do I start? I had to drive my husband's BMW because my car has been at Land Rover of San Francisco for well over a month and a half! Yes, I'll write THAT review later. I digress. My husband calls from CalTrain to let me know he has spilled a "little food" in the car and he apologized. My thought, "I don't care it's your car!" LOL Nope, he was right to apologize. He spilled what appeared to be a container of COLESLAW (creamy sauce and all) on the driver's side in between the seat and the console. Really honey? Really? This isn't a job that Ican run to Quick Quack or the Shell Station and get the car cleaned! And driving around with the smell of aging cabbage, onions, vinegar, and mayonnaise was not an option on this bright and sunny SF day. So, I hit YELP! I make a few calls and the folks aren't great. Yet, I read the reviews for Mr. Eco and happened to be on his side of town and stopped in. A kind man runs over and sees my sad face and asked me, "What's wrong, what can we do for you?" I said, "I know I don't jabs an appointment but my husband spilled curtido all in this car! Do you have time to fully detail the car inside and out?" He laughed and said "Sure we got you!" He quoted me an AMAZING PRICE and told me to stay in the car while they did an immaculate and thorough job on the outside (see pictures) and then allowed me to sit comfortably in the office while they finished the inside. They gave me multiple options to pay when my ATM chip decided that was the moment to find up the ghost (for real it was time) and I had to leave a generous tip for kindness and thoroughness of this team. These guys are the sweetest! It is my pleasure to drive our cars across town to be cleaned here and it's added into our family budget! SUPPORT GREAT SAN FRANCISCO SMALL BUSINESSES SOME DO GREAT WORK LIKE THESE GUYS! P.S. Don't let the humble, small space fool you! Baby that hand power wash they did on that car got out leaves and twigs these other local places never touched! read more

First time here, figured I'd give it a shot as it was close by. I'll preface by saying that the interior was not filthy, average amount of leaves and dust, dirt, etc. the exterior was very dirty, from off-road driving. When I first arrived, staff was friendly and discussed different options. I explained that I wanted a better interior cleaning and not interested in any exterior treatment beyond a regular wash. I was limited on time. I was told to upgrade to a pricier package and rather than doing exterior treatments, they would spend more time on the interior. About an hour later, I came back, paid for the package plus tip. Being that I was in a rush, I didn't pay much attention and trusted they did a good job. The exterior looked pretty clean. I arrive home a couple hours later, spot checked a few areas and was fully disappointed at the money I just threw away. The carpet and easily accessible areas still had junk, like vacuuming didn't even happen. Pictures show the driver seat floor as an example. I should've read the other reviews that were hidden. read more

Fantastic little gem that's easy to miss. If you're not looking for the "Mr. EcoWash" sign, it's easy to mistake the location for some other type of business. There's a self-serve car wash *very* close by (different business), so don't get confused. You're able to book appointments via the Mr. EcoWash website, which I found easy and straightforward to use. You'll have to select "Book Online" to see their prices (which start at $25 for compacts / smaller than an SUV). I believe they also take walk-ins, but I'd confirm that. Price are very reasonable for a full service car wash and vary depending on the size of the vehicle. I purchased the Premium Wash ($45 for a Cadillac CTS), which included interior vacuuming / detailing. Could not be happier with the results. Super fast service, friendly staff. read more

I just showed up for my car wash appointment. The place was chaos. The workers were screaming at each other and spraying water all over the place. This is a small business that doesn't pay a lot of overhead for their building or other fancy stuff like a gift shop and free popcorn. From what I can tell (after my second visit) it's four guys with buckets of soapy water, clean rags, and a shop vac. But I tell you, they do a GREAT job.
