We ordered the 'Cuban Sandwich' (hot pulled pork, ham, provolone, mustard, mayo, and pickles on a perfectly toasted, soft French roll) and the 'Turkey Sandwich' (cold). Both came with curly fries and were fresh and yummy. Personally, I prefer chips over fries with a cold sandwich, but the food was still excellent. Customer service was top-notch. Love the converted Airstream on the pier with huge chairs facing the setting sun. If you look the other direction right after sunset you may catch a moonrise also. My go-to is the Pismo Steak Sandwich - so good and worth the price. My wife enjoys the Sunsets Salad with delicious shrimp. We have told friends to go to Pismo's and just last year we brought a fair friend to experience it with us. The service is good, and the food takes some time to get to you, but it is hot and fantastic when it does. Very friendly staff that handles a never-ending crowd. Highly recommend it for the food and the experience of eating by the setting sun. Bring your camera and watch out for hungry seagulls.
