Mr. C's is only convenient if you live or work in the Grosse Pointes or Harper Woods. I have never been to the location in Clinton Township. I bought a membership for several months but canceled it. I now go to a more modern automatic car wash. I mainly went to the location on Mack Avenue and a few times to the one in Harper Woods. If you have a membership you can go to any location. The lines at the Mack location were long. It took too much time to have workers jot down your membership ID and wait to pull in to have more workers spray your windshield with water and soap before entering the car wash I didn't like having workers wipe down my car. I'd rather go through an automatic car wash dryer. I think they were too rough and broke my rear windshield wiper. Even though Mr. C's offered to replace it, I don't think they knew how to install it properly. I still had to go to a dealership to have it properly replaced. You have to pay extra for a worker to clean the interior of your vehicle or wash your floor mats. I'd also rather do all of this myself at a car wash that offers free vacuums and mat cleaners. The car wash I go to now has a cheaper membership and offers free vacuums and air compressor to clean mats. read more

Always get a great wash here but today was exceptional. It wasn't too busy and attention to detail was really good. Tracy led the drying team at the end. At the start was a manager, sorry but name escapes me, it begins with an "M" and he got every bug and then some off my front end. It was well worth the price. read more

Good car wash, but if there is even a suggestion, a bad weather they'll close. Don't buy the monthly pass because you only get to use it 50% of the time. read more

This is an expensive way to get a below average car wash with fast and friendly service. I don't mind the price (seems in line with the rest of GP), but it is simply a poor value for the service received. After learning that an interior/exterior wash is simply an exterior with the windows cleaned, I specifically asked for the dash and cup holders to be done. This was done so poorly it was laughable, truly made me laugh out loud when I got back in my car. The workers are super nice and efficient. read more

I was at the car wash today since I am going on vacation so I splurged. My gosh 34 bucks for bills best. I was so disappointed as I drove away. The cost keeps going up and the quality keeps going down. I guess it's true what they say "if you want something done right, do it yourself" and to add misery. I came out with a sizable door ding. Very nice shop but too expensive. Maybe I'm spoiled by the pricing at the car wash on Jefferson in Detroit. Also, no discount for retired military (not an entitlement but always appreciated). read more

Outstanding customer service. I recently visited from out of town and took my wife's vehicle in for a wash. I forgot to put my wife's car in car wash mode and the rain sensing windshield wipers engaged. The manager was quick to engage and try to correct the issue. When he realized he couldn't, he routed me to the nearest Mercedes dealership for replacement windshield wipers. He told me to have the dealership call him and he would cover any expense for the replacement wipers! Then, 2 days later, my father took my mothers car in for a wash and thought he lost his phone @ the car wash. When he returned to the car wash the same manager went above and beyond again by pulling video footage to see if he could isolate when my father may have misplaced his phone. Great car wash but even more impressed with the customer service experience we received and the willingness to go above and beyond. Thank you so much Mr. C's! read more

Horrible job washing my truck. The windshield is still dirty on the outside. Will not recommend this place to my friends and family.

Stopped by Mr. C's and as usual extremely pleased with service. My rims looked like they'd been driven through mud. When asking about extra care, the Team member said, "...don't worry. We prep at start and at finish they'll add finishing touches." My car is "sparkling-spanking-clean." Thanks Mr C's! read more

Sooooooo my wife and I took my work truck to be washed today outside only And the staff was cool other then this one elder man who picks me the only BLACK customer to try and check off on by demanding that I go pay for my truck to be washed so before I can fully tell him that I paid for my truck he then proceeds to further be rude and yells you ain't paid because you don't pay in the back so then I had to check off on him and tell him first you watch how you talk to people and I also paid so as I handed him my receipt he tells me you know what just go on As if he was doing me some type of favor so I made a call to the manager and spoke with him but I won't ever be back my family has been going here for years and I have never been there and rest assure I WILL NOT RETURN read more

Terrible! The washing of the outside of my car was fine, it was what was NOT done on the inside that I have an issue with. It looked like nothing was wiped down. For the second time in a row (and believe me there wont be a third time) I had to ask for someone to wipe down my dashboard and entertainment screen. They had not been touched. And even after it was wiped down, not a word of thanks. No "have a nice day" or anything. I paid almost $40 for a third rate car wash, it will not happen again. read more

Mr. C's has steadily declined into being a below average car wash. They charge top prices and can't be bothered to even clean the easily visible parts of the car. The attached photo shows how little effort they put in. This is from a Bill's Best wash. The best they have. I've been a loyal customer for 18 years and I can't go back here anymore. read more

Mr C's is a well run family establishment. I've been mostly happy every visit. Only once did I feel they did a rush job but after making a call all was made better when I returned the day after to have it cleaned again. I love the oddities you find here. The bulk snack items are a plus. There are a few things you can pick-up here that I wouldn't know where to find else where. Only wish there was a stay in your vehicle exterior wash option. read more

I was not aware that I left my I Phone on the top of my SUV before it went into the car wash. When I got home I turned on "find my phone" on my I Pad. It indicated the phone was still at the car wash. I went back to Mr. C's and spoke to Sam, the GM. Sam helped me look for the phone in the lobby and entrance of the car wash. No luck! Sam took my information and told me he would call me if it turned up. At 6:15 PM I got a call from Sam. He told me to call my I Phone and he heard the phone ringing but couldn't locate it. Sam asked if I would come down to the car wash and we could look for it. Sam put on boots and pulled up the grates covering the floor of the car wash floor. I dialed the number and he heard the ringing and found my phone. This was customer service that went way above the call of duty!! Sam Wright is a real asset to Mr. C's!. In addition I got a great car wash. From a grateful customer Len A. read more

So like they do a decent job and everything...but the hours? Haha they're open till 6...like what? Most of us who actually still need and want to work today work till 5-530, but you close at 6? Why wouldn't you open later and stay open later? It' seems so common sense to think "hmmm, maybe we would do more business if we were open when people could actually get their car washed". Pretty wild. read more

My former review was removed. Avoid at all costs. Managenent is rude and some of the workers steal from your vehicle. Carpets do not get fully vacuumed. Also, why am I paying 40.00 plus tip when they aren't even wiping out the door jambs? Have done business at this establishment for twenty plus years. I have now thoroughly had it after a manager was rude and dismissed me over a miscommunication. Actually, he wouldn't speak to me at all, except to bellow at me and motion at me to back out, upon another employee motioning me into the garage. Didn't state why. I think owners would do best to pay their employees a living wage; maybe then they would attract quality employees. read more

This wash was a gift from our kids after 10 days traveling in the U.P. I pointed out all the bugs on the front end to the woman writing up our work order- she didn't add it as she indicated it won't be a problem... But, they didn't get the bugs!! We privately tipped a worker 5$ more to handle it for us. Should have been included, agreed? It was a great gift idea none the less read more

Today I paid 26.00 for the inside/outside on my car. When my hubs came home with the car sent him back to tell them no, I am not asking for a detail job I am asking for a clean car inside and out. The second time I saw the car I realized I am asking the impossible from these people. They obviously do have adequate equipment to do regular jobs such as vacuuming and wiping down of the vehicle. Save your money and go elsewhere, these people do not care if you car is clean or not. read more

Honestly? Got bills best interior and exterior wash. Cost $30 dollars, was a 5 dollar value. Inside of the car wiped carelessly over with a dirty rag, no attention to detail. Hardly vacuumed. You get a better value for a drive in car wash and 4 quarters for the vacuum. read more

In the spirit of spreading human kindness, I wanted to give a shout out to the manager, Danny at Mr. C's Car Wash on Mack Ave. We went through the car wash this past Friday and only noticed today a piece of trim (that was already loose) missing off our car. My hubs called and asked if they found our chrome piece and they looked and thought maybe they had it. We went straight up there only to find out it wasn't the piece we were looking for...Danny asked for our number just in case it was found. So my husband and I retraced our steps since Friday, driving to every parking lot and street trying to find it. Nothing. We got a call a few hours later from Danny saying he went and looked at the video footage (didn't know there was such a thing?!?) and saw that the piece was on our car going IN TO the car wash and when our car came OUT of the 'blower area' section it was gone...so he went to that particular area and found our missing trim piece and called us! Yay!!! He went out of his way and when we went to give him money, he refused and said "no thank you, I'm just doing my job!" My hubs asked, "what can we do to thank you?" Danny replied "you just did." Awwww, we are so greatful! Thanks, Danny. read more

Save your money. Got the $12 wash. Saw a crew member power wash the right front wheel but they failed to get minor road dust off the other three wheels. Either do a great job or don't. Manager says we should've paid an extra six dollars to get the wheels clean. Then why attempt to power wash just one of them? Next time use your quarters to self wash the paint, windows, tires and wheels read more

I only came here because the location on harper was closed due to repairs. They did a HORRIBLE job drying my car. My side view mirrors weren't even blown out like the other location does. I only got an outside wash, yet the harper location spends a great deal of time drying my car utilizing 2 or 3 employees. I had an older man spend approximately 30 seconds drying my car. Will never be back! read more

Not impressed at all. Even though I got the most expensive package my truck was delivered to me as if whoever cleaned it didn't care (see pictures). The outside and back seat were good. But the front was not paid attention to. I was already upset because the cashier over charged me for an item, and when I brought it up she made me get back in line! Seriously? I always go here and get the $15 dollar wash and they do a good job and are fast but they might miss a spot.

I am a regular at Mr. C's and I noticed the price's for your services have gone up, but the performance declining! I'm not one to complain but for the amount you charge, i shouldn't have to go over and clean my car when i get home. I just left the 26 mile Washington Twp MI. location and noticed most of my inside wasn't either cleaned well or even touched at all. The back seat, the floors left with loose dirt and the seats as well. The back of the driver and passenger seats still have the dirt marks on them. The mats not cleaned. Same with the 3rd row. The trunk wasn't vacuumed. My rims were left with gunk. I had to take a towel to them to clean them when I noticed the rest of my rims were bad and just got so upset. I paid $25 for an interior and exterior clean and I definitely didn't get my money's worth. This is unacceptable especially considering the price increase. I don't mind paying a little extra but when I expect a clean car and I actually get worse? I'm a very busy person with 3 kids and full time job, and all i want is a clean car and good service and not to just waste my money. I've attached some pics to prove it. I'm just extremely unsatisfied and upset! IMG_8916.jpeg IMG_8915.jpeg IMG_8919.jpeg IMG_8918.jpeg IMG_8920.jpeg IMG_8921.jpeg IMG_8923.jpeg IMG_8924.jpeg IMG_8926.jpeg read more

As the quality of the wash goes down, so should the price. I was thoroughly satisfied with the exterior wash the inside of the car was not to my liking. This is becoming "the usual." Half ass jobs bother me more than something completely ignored. For example, as I watched the new person being shown how to wipe a dashboard, my concern started to grow because I just couldn't fathom someone being shown that. BUT, the exemplary shine of that wash distracted me from paying close attention once I got in. The glass on the instrument panel was clean but dust surrounded it. SURROUNDED IT! And that person didn't even touch my radio console. It's not a touchscreen at all. That was my fault that I didn't go back but $24 is a lot of money to only get a wash and light vacuuming. They've got one more chance with me. read more
