If you're familiar with actual good Chinese food this isn't it. My orange chicken was way over cooked and actually tasted reheated from frozen. They actually looked in the freezer to see if they had any when I originally asked for lemon chicken. My husbands garlic chicken took 20 minutes more than mine to come out. Broccoli under cooked. They don't allow ordering online anymore. What's up with that? There is no lobby walk in. They still have a computer. Nothing has changed there. I don't like calling and making my order. It's inconvenient. I'd like to order online, pay online and then just pick up, like before. Instead, I have to call, wait for an answer and if it's busy, I have to call back, order and then pay at pickup. There could be 10 people ahead of me. I love Chens but it's pushing me to go to other places that will take online orders. If they've lost my business, then they have to be losing other business. Moved back to Pensacola and was looking for a good Chinese takeout restaurant. After reading the reviews, we opted to try out Mr. Chen. We placed our order over the phone. Their menu is simple to order from, the girl on the phone was nice, able to understand English well. 15 minutes later our food was ready for pickup. We tried the cream cheese wontons, general's chicken, sesame chicken, chicken Mei fun, pork Mei fun, and steamed dumplings. Everything was hot, fresh, and really good. Except for the steamed dumplings. I'm not sure what the filling was, but it wasn't good to anyone in our family. The dough on the outside was super thick, not what I am used to in a steamed dumpling. The leftovers were even amazing the next day! This will be our new go-to for Chinese. Highly recommend! read more
