This is the first time I've ever had a quarter pounder taste as though they pulled it fresh off the grill. It probably was pulled fresh off the grill and not wrapped and sitting in a warmer. Now, it's been a while since I've set foot in a McDonald's and it might just be me, but I don't remember a meal being $13.50 though. As great as this location was I think I'll be cutting McDonald's out of my life. It's a value burger. Not a gourmet eatery. "Sir this is a McDonald's." Has an entirely new meaning for me now.

We had great service and sat outside on their nice patio, which was the perfect setting. I ordered the Buzz Lightyear Burger, and it was fantastic. The combination of the fried egg, bacon, avocado, swiss cheese, and their sauce was packed with flavor, and everything came together really well. The fries were also solid. I'm always a sucker for a good burger, and this one definitely delivered. I'd absolutely come back next time I'm in Steamboat!

My only comment would be to turn up the heat a bit. It's chilly to sit and eat your over cream in store.

Our fam got seated quickly on a snowy Sunday evening. Drink wise the shakes are great and they serve a small size that works perfectly as a nice appetizer beverage. For apps we ordered the Rasta dry rub wings. The wings were cooked perfectly with a good crunch factor and savory soft meat. The rub though was a bit salty.. They still didn't have a chance. I had the Egg On My Face burger and it did not disappoint. Forewarning - the hot sauce delivers its fair share of heat on the Scoville scale. It was a fun ride. Overall great experience. Tonight reservations were made at Table 79 Foodbar for a nice dinner with friends. The ambiance…read morewas refined but not stuffy. Our waitress appeared overwhelmed with service that was slow and at times MIA. Reviewing the menu revealed small plates, shared plates and mains at varied price points. Our starter portebello mushroom bisque with onions, red wine, heavy cream, and chive oil was both delightful and packed with deep and uncious profiles. It is definitely a must try! The short rib bao buns with Asian pickled salad, gochugang, sliced jalapenos, sesame seeds and dark soy drizzle was slightly over-sauced and drowned out the short rib flavors. The boneless ribs were however tender. The cantaloupe salad was fine, but lacked a savory combination. The lemon vinegarette was light with a pop of red onion and roasted pancetta. Overall, certain aspects of the food were incredible while others were slight misses. The service tonight was slow, but I definitely would give Table 79 a second chance as the menu did look intriguing.

A great sidewalk presence in Steamboat Springs is Winina's Restaurant and Bakery. On the main…read moredrag, they have a decent crowd waiting for a breakfast staple. The interior is tight, but obviously a local favorite. We were not that hungry and needed some energy to jump start our day. I ordered a single biscuit with gravy while my wife dove into the blueberry scone and a single egg. The biscuit was decent while the sausage gravy lacked a protein punch. It was average. Meanwhile the scone tasted like it was heated on the flat top over a pad of butter and crunched with a nice sugary topping. It was flavor packed and quickly inhaled. For breakfast, Winona's looks like the place in Steamboat Springs. The crowds are waiting patiently and eager to eat. It feels like a go-to for the early riser crowd. The food is solid with some choices ring the bell. Portions sizes are generous and the staff is quite accommodating. Good meal.
