There are few places nowadays where you can walk in, hand over money and leave with a larger smile…read moresmeared across your face than when you originally entered, this however does just that! Upon entering there is always a warm and friendly greeting from staff who obviously appreciate you being there. The menu boasts so many options to suit absolutely every person regardless of dietary preference. During our first visit we ordered a lovely latte and milkshake, which was undoubtedly the best we had ever tasted! From a coffee lovers point of view, it outweighed all competition tasting so fresh you'd think they grew the beans in the back garden! The milkshakes are equally as awesome and straight away you can tell its made from only the freshest of ingredients while you wait. I pretty much lived on the strawberry and mango milkshake for my weeks holiday and im definitely feeling withdrawal symptoms now im back home! We also tried several of the food options during our stay, which included some amazing bacon sarnies and what had to be the best plate of nachos we could ever dream of! Unlike many of the other cafe's and restaurants the prices are also extremely modest for what you get. This cafe's absolutely faultless, and I promise anyone visiting it will love bopping to Bob Marley while consuming some of the finest food and drink in the country! We cant wait to return once the uni terms over!! Very best of luck you guys, was amazing meeting you all! Take care :] Joe and Han x (P.s we managed to get back to the Midlands without the M25 in the end!!)

Let's start with the food. Mostly vegetarian and really tasty. My wife's vegetarian lasagne was…read morewell cooked and the pasta was just right, while my tri-coloured gnocci in a cheese sauce was the best I've had. Puddings looked tempting and prices weren't over-the-top (although £1.50 for a small bottle of water was less pleasing). Then there's the cinema. It's an arts cinema, with a single screen, showing a couple of films a week. The movies are a mix of foreign language and quality independent films of the type that just don't make it to the Vue or Reel cinemas. Then there's the bargain deal: £10 for a cinema ticket and a main course (normal price £13.50). That's a bargain.

The films are great here-no doubt-and the volunteers keep this place going. But our experience in…read morethe restaurant last night got the multi thumbs down. Mediocre food, queues so long that we weren't able to get a dessert; and the dullest looking load of 'cakes/ desserts' I've ever seen. ( Large dry looking sponge cakes filled with squirty cream and a shop bought fruit tart-yeuk! We were opting for the covered and frozen Salcomb Dairy Ice Cream-ot would have done...) And as the desserts were lined up on a table-uncovered-next to where the queue was crammed in at the serving hatch coughing and spluttering would anyone want to eat them anyway?) This is SO sad, as the venue is fab and we've had some great cheap veggie food here in the past. But we'll not be going again...
