Prompt appointments, competent repairman, leaky washer fixed. Cost seemed very high but I don't have competition to compare.

I contacted Frigidaire to get an idea of how much it would cost to fix, and they quoted me a $350 flat rate regardless of the issue. Considering my refrigerator cost $900 new, that felt like a lot. I decided to contact Columbine as they seemed to have a good reputation. They couldn't give me a quote over the phone without checking on the fridge (which mades sense to an extent, but I tried to get a range at least - which they would not give me), but would send a tech out. Just to look at things there was a $135 diagnostic fee, that (assuming I ultimately use them) would go toward whatever repair was need. This seemed potentially like a better deal so I scheduled a time for a tech to come out. Well the tech just left, after quoting me close to $900 to repair the refrigerator! $900 is literally the cost of the refrigerator new! He even told me that if there were other issues the cost could go up to $2000! I can't express how frustrated I am at this situation, and how absurdly expensive Columbine is. Had the person on the phone at least given me a range of potential costs I would never have gone with them. Now it's off to Frigidaire. In the end I will be spending close to $500 to fix a refrigerator that only cost $900.

They were supposed to fix my washer, but instead they kept giving me excuse after excuse, saying…read morethe part "was never in." It took them almost two weeks just to show up and look at it. Then they told me it couldn't even be fixed because the washer was completely broken. They promised me a refund since they couldn't do the job. I paid about $500. It is now March, and I have been fighting for my refund since January. The lack of professionalism and accountability is ridiculous. This whole experience has been beyond frustrating. However there was a lack of communication on when the part would come in & when it did come it was about a week after they told us it would be in. Then that didn't fix the issue & we were basically informed at this point we needed an entire new washer & they would refund us the almost $500 for repair costs. It has been over a month now with struggling to get in touch with the owner, getting excuse after excuse as to why they haven't sent the refund out, and now they're offering to Venmo it. Extremely unprofessional. Zero communication unless you literally bug them constantly. And we still haven't received our refund. We are over $1,000 down because of this mess. We are a lower income family of 5 & this has just been a nightmare dealing with this company.
