When I confronted him: -- He blamed "his guys" and promised to fix it himself. -- Days later, he showed up late and performed a **sloppy, unsafe patch job** -- dozens of nail holes in flashing, a poorly cut eave, and brad nails holding it together. -- I demanded a refund, but he stalled, claiming he needed money back from his subcontractor. To make matters worse, his invoice lists a **fake contractor license number** ("VAT Reg No: Lic#lc20190386"). No valid license exists. This is **fraudulent misrepresentation**. He was friendly and informative of necessary work and anticipated start date for the project. True to his word, the final price was as originally quoted. The only exception was our bridge that needed additional boards replaced. This was a small add-on and considering the hassle for me to haul up six 2x6 10 foot boards, it was well worth the price. They left this additional add-on entirely up to me to decide and were no pressure whatsoever. In addition to Mike, all his staff were exceptionally nice to work with.
