I rarely write negative reviews, but after this experience, I feel a responsibility to warn other couples. MPW was, without question, the most disappointing vendor we worked with for our wedding. Their work reflects complacency and a lack of professionalism that is difficult to comprehend given their reputation. I strongly advise against hiring them for your wedding. On the morning of our wedding, the team rushed every moment, creating unnecessary stress. During the reception, the issues escalated significantly. We paid a substantial amount for a same-day edit, which they repeatedly promised would be ready "in five minutes." This delay continued for over 90 minutes. As a result, the DJ stopped the music multiple times in anticipation of the video entrance, and approximately 90-95% of our 400 guests believed the reception had ended and began leaving. This completely disrupted and ultimately ruined our reception. Several months later, we received the final edited video, which was expected timing-wise. However, the quality was shocking. The video showed severe technical and artistic failures: the camera focused on a guest's armpit during the ceremony, excessive lens flares blocked the screen during our first dance, and extended shots included the photographer's bald spot instead of the couple. Additionally, important screen presentations prepared by my wife's family were entirely missed. When we contacted MPW to express that the video was unacceptable, a team member accidentally replied to our email in Filipino rather than internally. After translating the message, it stated that it was "the worst video he has ever seen" and that "the guy they hired was terrible." This confirmed our concerns about the quality of the work and internal oversight. We requested corrections, after which MPW sent a revised edit. Unfortunately, they only changed the presentation slides (after we provided the files again) and added excessive fade-to-black transitions. It was clear the video had not been fully reviewed. In multiple scenes, their crew can be seen sitting in the background or not paying attention to framing, with people walking through shots--further demonstrating a lack of care and professionalism. I then sent a detailed email with timestamps outlining every issue. Despite this still being the first proper revision, we were repeatedly reminded of their policy that additional edits cost extra. Each revision fixed one issue while introducing another, creating the impression that the process was intentionally prolonged to justify charging for additional edits. After 14 months of ongoing communication, we finally received the completed video. However, the raw footage--part of our agreement--was not included. We had to follow up again before it was finally delivered. At this point, we will need to hire another editor simply to produce a watchable and respectful wedding film. This experience included a rushed wedding morning, unacceptable filming angles, missed key moments, a severely delayed same-day edit that disrupted our reception, and over a year of exhausting back-and-forth. I do not enjoy writing reviews like this, and I am generally very understanding of human error. However, the level of negligence and lack of accountability we experienced was unacceptable. My wife and I found out about MPW from our best friend. When we saw the work MPW did at their wedding, we decided right there that we didn't want MPW - but we NEEDED them for our wedding. If you watch their work it truly speaks for itself. Every wedding that MPW is hired, included my own, you can guarantee you'll have texts and messages coming in about WHO WERE THOSE GUYS and WHATS THEIR CONTACT INFO BECAUSE WE WANT TO HIRE THEM. Each of my 3 sisters had MPW as their wedding photographer, and when it came time for me, I of course knew I wanted them, too. Our pre-Covid wedding plans were a July California wedding, and we would have flown Glenn and his team out if they were not already booked (1.5 years in advance of our date!) and if LA venue dates weren't so competitive. MPW's photos are each a work of art, with Glenn's innate eye for seeing a photo op and unparalleled talent for capturing it with just the right angle and lighting. When Covid hit, like many other couples, it took us some time to figure out what we would do in 2020 instead. We opted for a minimony, a direct family only wedding and decided to have it in my hometown in NJ so my folks wouldn't have to fly. During this stressful and rapid planning process, our photography was the least stressful piece because we had Glenn. Our wedding photos were right in Glenn's turf, Princeton, and he knew exactly which spots to target for stunning breathtaking photos. Glenn captured such a variety of photo types, from playful candids, to black and white dramatic moments, to rich colorful snapshots. Somehow he was able to capture photos like no one was around, when in fact there were at least 3 other wedding photo shoots going on. The best gift Glenn could give us was family portraits, something which 2020 has taught us are priceless and we feel so fortunate to have been able to have. We had originally only booked Glenn for 3 hours, thinking naively that our minimony would only need half the time of a regular wedding. When we realized we wanted more time, he was so flexible and upbeat despite having a 7AM wedding the next day. Glenn even gave us a teaser and within a couple of hours, had messaged us absolutely stunning photos from the day. The fast turnaround speaks to the fact that his talent is incredible and his photos do not even need editing! The remainder of our photos were turned around in less than 2 weeks, and we are ecstatic to share them with our loved ones. Glenn was amazing throughout the whole planning process; he was very attentive and answered all our texts/emails right away. He made us feel comfortable in front of the camera during our engagement shoot and put us at ease for what the big day would be. From the moment they walked into the bridal suite, the energy was palpable! Our bridal party had no idea what they were getting themselves into, but absolutely loved every minute of it! They are so fun and dynamic and there truly was no dull moment. Greatest hype crew in the game. The absolute best part was when my parents got asked if we hired dance instructors to lead the Filipino line dances, but it was just RJ leading the pack and teaching everyone the steps. They were professional and delivered on all fronts. The same day edit was unreal, such a masterpiece! Everyone still talks about it and how creative and different it was. I can rewatch the Instagram reels and same day edit all day and would still be at awe at their talent and vision and how they executed the day. Oh, and I received photos 2 days after the big day, is that real life?? No one can do it better. MPW= photo/video MASTERS! They are truly the best in the game and were an absolute pleasure to work with! Three years ago we attended my cousin's wedding in Jersey and that's when we first saw (and fell in love with) MPW's work, particularly the Same Day EDIT! This was something we have never seen before and definitely knew we wanted on our big day. Fast forward to 2017 when my fiance popped the question. We booked the venue first and booked MPW next- it was a no brainer. Glenn and his team kept it professional but also knew how to have fun and make our bridal party feel comfortable! There was even a moment of panic when my LIMO didn't show up, but they were able to utilize the time and took some awesome shots of me and my bridesmaids as we waited! They were so great at following the timeline and were patient with all our family's extra photo requests. Our outdoor venue in Brandon FL was a rustic dream and MPW captured every second for us to commemorate forever. Our same day edit was absolute perfection and something we watch together at least once, maybe twice... OK, like 5x a day. I don't think there are enough ways to explain how amazing MPW is!!! Glenn (the owner) was so helpful and great to work with every step of the way. He was there in the beginning to capture some shots of me and my husband separately, then let his crew take over. The crew of photographers and videographers are truly amazing at their jobs! The photographers were able to get the shots I wanted plus more! The same day edit was AMAZING. Everyone was in love with it and I still cry when I watch it! I haven't received the pictures yet since we just got married last week, but I'm sure they will be just as amazing judging from our engagement shoot!
