My daughter's Pre-K class has experienced SIX different teachers so far this school year!!! SIX! We received almost daily reports of accidents, injuries, etc. that rarely happened before. For the first time in her life, my child doesn't want to go to school! we received very little communication from school management. They were so short staffed one day, the school sent out a message asking us to pick up our kids as soon as we all could because they were short handed! We have had multiple meetings to try to express our concerns and seek a solution with zero improvement. Before writing this I reached out to the owners and have received no response. But most disturbingly of all, this week the new management held a lockdown drill without ever training the staff (or even apparently telling them it was a drill!). Management went around banging on doors, etc. pretending to be an active shooter. Students were told if they make a sound "the bad people with guns will shoot and kill you"! My 4-yr-old (as well as many of her classmates) are terrified, having nightmares, and asking if they are going to be shot and killed. Lockdown drills are important. It's not necessary to traumatize babies! We (along with many others) had to make the difficult decision to pull our kids yesterday without a plan for childcare. I feel my child was no longer physically or emotionally safe at that school. I never could have imagined things going this way!

However, the children spot provides lots of picture it didn't have a camera to watch the children at home-- but you're welcomed to come & watch from their office if you ever want to come in (which i never needed to because the disposition of my child was better now) . My child is MUCH happier here & learning more here at the children spot. She does hands on activities, tracing & projects (besides coloring all day long as she seemingly did in the other school).
