Being from NYC, we didn't know much about the Poconos and Stroudsburg. After some deep, and I am talking DEEP, Google, Knot, Yelp stalking, we kept coming back to these photos taken at our venue of choice by Elle Studios. We stalked her website, Instagram and Facebook and we knew we had to have her. We set up a FaceTime call and knew we made the right choice. Fast forward to September for our engagement photos, Emily made it incredibly easy by picking a beautiful spot in Wind Gap, and walking us through the entire shoot. We felt so comfortable and grateful to have a connection with her; we knew she was there with us but also didn't feel like she was there. Neither of us have previously taken part in any professional photo shoots so we were worried we would feel awkward and uncomfortable, but that was not the case. We couldn't believe how beautiful our engagement photos were and we spent the next 13 months so excited for our wedding. I went first to Yost's Frame Shop, which is no longer in business. I then went to Blick Art Supply which used to do framing, but has since discontinued that service. Blick referred me to Jennifer Lynn of Geranium HIll. She showed me a piece she had recently framed and I thought that she did an excellent job of creating a frame that perfectly complemented the artwork without overwhelming it. She was pleasant, helpful, and respectful of my request for handling the art work. I did not want any of the smudges or blemishes removed. Those marks were earned and reflected the history of the piece. Jennifer gave me exactly what I wanted, a frame that showcased the art. I recommend her highly. We were there for our sons senior pictures. The only issue we had was the clothing. Our son is a large young man, he wears a 3X to 4X t-shirt or sweatshirt. They didn't have 1 shirt larger than a 3X shirt. After much pulling tucking and "hold your breath " we got the shirt somewhat on him. Then comes the gown, this truly baffled me because these normally run large anyways. They had to take 2 small gowns and drape it over him. By now he is frustrated and completely humiliated. My husband is angry and almost in a rant about WHY? Then because we didn't come prepared for the family picture we had to return the following day to repeat the process. I find it very short sighted to not have at least 1 shirt and gown for larger size people. We are a nation that come in a multitude of sizes and not only up to 3X. He should not have been shamed because he is not within the size range your agency considers normal. I am hoping if we need to use you again this situation will be corrected.

The photographers clearly lack portrait training -- the lighting, angles, and expressions are all off. No amount of retakes can fix the lack of professionalism or care. These are supposed to be cherished memories, and instead, they're just frustrating reminders of a missed opportunity. If you're considering using this service -- don't. We talked on the phone for about an hour and completely clicked - don't underestimate how important this is! Christina is basically a gem in the world of wedding photography. She doubles as a wedding planner. She had a whole schedule she sends you almost by the half hour for your wedding day. Its AMAZING. I really can't even explain how important it was to know how on top of it she was. She made sure I didn't see my groom before the ceremony - and never tried to push us to do a first look. On top of all this, the photos are amazingly beautiful. I wish I could post the photo of my husband when he saw me for the first time. Her second shooter, Jen, worked with my hubs and his groomsmen. The guys LOVED her. I think they wanted her to be a guest at the wedding more than a photographer. She managed to keep them all in check (not easy), produce AMAZING photos, and blend in like a guest.
