The employees are all very pleasant and efficient. We arrived for our appointment a bit early and the wait was minimal. The photographer was really nice and patient. We were there for our sons senior pictures. The only issue we had was the clothing. Our son is a large young man, he wears a 3X to 4X t-shirt or sweatshirt. They didn't have 1 shirt larger than a 3X shirt. After much pulling tucking and "hold your breath " we got the shirt somewhat on him. Then comes the gown, this truly baffled me because these normally run large anyways. They had to take 2 small gowns and drape it over him. By now he is frustrated and completely humiliated. My husband is angry and almost in a rant about WHY? Then because we didn't come prepared for the family picture we had to return the following day to repeat the process. I find it very short sighted to not have at least 1 shirt and gown for larger size people. We are a nation that come in a multitude of sizes and not only up to 3X. He should not have been shamed because he is not within the size range your agency considers normal. I am hoping if we need to use you again this situation will be corrected. read more

I've held off long enough, but after three years in a row of awful school pictures, I can't stay quiet. The quality is consistently poor, and the process forces parents to pre-pay before even seeing the photos, leaving us stuck with disappointing results year after year. The photographers clearly lack portrait training -- the lighting, angles, and expressions are all off. No amount of retakes can fix the lack of professionalism or care. These are supposed to be cherished memories, and instead, they're just frustrating reminders of a missed opportunity. If you're considering using this service -- don't. You'll get better results with your iPhone and a little natural light. Save your money and your child's memories. read more

Christmas City took school pictures for an elementary student. A check was submitted at the time of the shoot. A few days later, Christmas City called me saying the check was not signed. At her suggestion, I paid by credit card over the phone. The credit card was charged $5.30 more than the check was written for. On 11/18/2025, I received the uncashed check in the mail from Christmas City. The check was absolutely signed when it was returned to me, showing it was signed when it was submitted for payment. Today, 11/19/2025, I called Christmas City back to inquire why the credit card payment was more than the check. "Samantha" claimed it was for shipping fees, which was not stated anywhere on their paperwork. I also told her the returned check was absolutely signed when Christmas City returned it to me. Samantha insisted it was not and stopped short of actually calling me a liar. They are dishonest and over charging people. Horrible customer service. read more

Had senior pictures done and they were horrible (lighting and color), and terribly generic. Still had to pay full price for digital copy of all of them just for the few that were decent. Then went to a different studio which did a much better job at a better price. Christmas City Studio also did graduation photos. Jesus Christ, I don't even know what to say. Photo was as students were coming down the steps after being handed their diploma, so they were looking down. This isn't something that can be redone by another studio. I went here once to take a simple senior portrait, and I was satisfied on how good it looked, but when I went home my mom yelled at me for not getting the cap and gown picture as well. She told me to buy the $45 package which was definitely worth it, I came in retook my yearbook pictures and got cap and gown pictures. A Christmas City Studio photographer was present for Kutztown 2022 graduation. Parents were not allowed on the field as students walked up to receive their diploma. Parents were at the mercy of the Christmas City Photographer. My son's name is near the end of the alphabet and him and others with last names near the end of the alphabet had absolutely no pictures taken of them receiving their diploma. It was terribly unfair to graduates and their families. The photographer was enamored of one student, a severely handicapped boy; and spent most of his time photographing this boy. I suggest schools in Berks, Lehigh, and Northhampton Counties bring another studio in if they care about their graduates. Chrismas City Studio is very unprofessional and not capable of getting the job done. read more

I have called four times and emailed twice with no response in regards on what to do about ordering my children's school photos. As for the last time this happened they told me it wasn't their problem. So now yet again, I won't get my photos ordered because nobody can get back to me on what I am supposed to do because the website does not work. When I log in to my act nothing works but the previously ordered page. When I try to go through the QR code and input my children they are not found on their system eventhough their school photos have been taken by them for the last four years. This company is utilized at all the schools my kids have gone to here in Bethlehem Pa . I am extremely disappointed in whatever team they use to take the school photos. They never make sure the children are put together. No one checks their hair to make sure it is decent. They ask you to spend your hard earned cash and take NO pride in their work. I drove my son 30 mins away to get a good hair cut, spent 20 mins in morning making sure he had hair spray and it was styled. We get his school pics and his hair is a mess. I don't expect anyone to do a total Body make over on my child, but at least make sure his hair is semi decent. This has been with all my kids, thank Goodness that my daughters got a bit older and made sure on their own that their hair was ok... waste of Money & Disappointed in their workmanship. We went to Christmas city studio for my daughter's senior photo session. We booked forty five minutes and we literally had at least that much time or more. My daughter had two of her own outfits and the studio provided the cap and gown, and the drape for the year book. The photographer was friendly and courteous. The photographers work really fast and they really don't give you enough time to make sure the picture comes out perfect They rich! And since you're paying a fortune for them they should take picture in more than 1 minute. 3 years running they have screwed up my order and my exwifes order. Tired of having to chase this company down to figure out what they did wrong and to have my packages redone and sent out. Very disappointed with this studio. When I recieved my youngest daughters pictures, they didnt do the blemish touch ups that I paid extra for, then my other daughter it took over a month to get her cheer pics and when I finally got them, they were missing sheets.
