We got engaged in May 2018, and began the hunt for our venue and then vendors. The feedback from so…read moremany of our friends was find a photographer you love -- cool, no pressure. Being from NYC, we didn't know much about the Poconos and Stroudsburg. After some deep, and I am talking DEEP, Google, Knot, Yelp stalking, we kept coming back to these photos taken at our venue of choice by Elle Studios. We stalked her website, Instagram and Facebook and we knew we had to have her. We set up a FaceTime call and knew we made the right choice. Fast forward to September for our engagement photos, Emily made it incredibly easy by picking a beautiful spot in Wind Gap, and walking us through the entire shoot. We felt so comfortable and grateful to have a connection with her; we knew she was there with us but also didn't feel like she was there. Neither of us have previously taken part in any professional photo shoots so we were worried we would feel awkward and uncomfortable, but that was not the case. We couldn't believe how beautiful our engagement photos were and we spent the next 13 months so excited for our wedding. Emily sends a document for you to fill out to ensure you get photos with everyone you need to, keep you organized, and on schedule so you can enjoy all the elements of your day. Emily and her associate, Jessica, shot our wedding on 10/11/2019 at The Stroudsmoor Country Inn at Lawnhaven. We rented an Airbnb for my girls and I to get ready in and take our first look photos at. Emily came up and helped me get dressed -- no like HELPED me into my Spanx get dressed -- alongside my sister/MOH. Emily is so patient and kind. She will laugh with you, cry with you, help you, recommend amazing vendors to you, and capture moments to help you never forget your day. My husband and I are so grateful for Emily, her dedication to her work, and her passion for her work. Our friends and family are blown away by the photos she has shared with us already. We cannot wait to see the rest of our photos from our wedding and what the future holds for Elle Studios!

I have always loved Emily's work, so when a Mommy & Me mini shoot collided with pretty close to my daughter's 6 month birthday, I jumped at the chance to experience her work! Our photos were beautiful...the space was exactly as I pictured it, and her client closet (including wee vintage baby rompers) were perfection. Her recommendation for Trina at Parlor Hair & Makeup Studio was icing on the cake for the gorgeous shots I got to choose from as part of my package. I loved them so much that I bought a few extra files on top of what was included. Money beyond well spent to remember these moments with my wee one.

She is the sweetest person who really wants to hear your story and create the best images possible for you wedding day. We talked on the phone for about an hour and completely clicked - don't underestimate how important this is! Christina is basically a gem in the world of wedding photography. She doubles as a wedding planner. She had a whole schedule she sends you almost by the half hour for your wedding day. Its AMAZING. I really can't even explain how important it was to know how on top of it she was. She made sure I didn't see my groom before the ceremony - and never tried to push us to do a first look. On top of all this, the photos are amazingly beautiful. I wish I could post the photo of my husband when he saw me for the first time. Her second shooter, Jen, worked with my hubs and his groomsmen. The guys LOVED her. I think they wanted her to be a guest at the wedding more than a photographer. She managed to keep them all in check (not easy), produce AMAZING photos, and blend in like a guest. It should be noted that Jen also gets stains out of bridesmaids dresses :) Thank you thank you Nina Lily!!!
