Nights prior, I had read some (1-2?)negative reviews And was very anxious about going. But after almost a 8 month wait to go to Yale Derm ( my doing due to my agoraphobic symptoms) I FINALLY threw caution to the wind and I went. I could not believe the individual who had posted a neg response was talking about the same office I went to ?? It seems a bit far fetched and that's coming from some one who dreaded going. I was BEYOND pleasantly surprised. I can not even list all the positives but I can say it lifted a huge weight off my shoulder and gave me some hope for a better future. My skin issue have made a HUGE impact on my life and not in a positive way. So Dr. B came into the office and not only did he have a good "bedside manner". Dr B was such a great Doc. He took his time and also stayed to answer some questions which he answered to best of his ability ... the ONLY NEGATIVE IS .... he's not. Magician and can't wave a wand over my head to make the emotional & physical pain of this skin issue disappear. I can't say enough about the positive experience I had at Yale Derm in Middlebury. My only other regret.... ? I wish I went much sooner because he gave me hope & I finally see there may be a light at the end of this dark tunnel. Anyone who is unsure about going here... all I can say is my experience with the front desk, nurses and Dr B went beyond my expectations and you'd be foolish not to check them out. It's a bright start to a future. Thank you SO VERY. Much for all your help and compassion y'all provided and you did so without pushing ANY meds or programs as a previous poster implies. I had a polar opposite experience and to me ... I would bring my children there as well if needed and I don't just send them anywhere. Great place!

Make sure you have a referral, even if it's not required by your insurance, because they won't speak to you without one. Not sure what is going on with Yale but their call center staff that do scheduling seem to be miserable for all offices and specialties.

The doctors are medication happy, and the one that treated me for years suddenly disappeared out to Montana because he was being sued. If you value your life, don't go to these people.

Kind and quiet and speaks with a way that lets your worries and stress go away. I had him as a doctor and I was disappointed he left the practice. Dr. Trager knows his stuff. Very highly recommended. Will give you what ever amount of time needed to answers all your questions. His knowledge in medicine is amazing. You have to give him a lot of support for being in a career seeing thousands of patients during a long career and being able to give one on one attention. He should be sharing his knowledge to new students in medical schools. Very happy with all my appointments with Dr. Michael Trager.
