Very bad experience.
I had a very disappointing experience with this business, and I normally do not leave reviews -- but this one deserves careful consideration. I own a Poulan chainsaw that I used once and then stored without fuel for about a year. When I took it out of storage, it would not crank.
On August 14, 2026, I brought the saw to Mow Life, LLC in Diamondhead, MS for evaluation. I was told at the front desk that it would take 2-3 weeks before a technician could look at it, and that a $20 deposit was required. I paid the deposit and left the saw.
Two weeks later, I called for an update and was told it would be a few more days. I called again on September 15, 2026, and was told it still wasn't ready. On September 16, I called once more and was informed that the saw wasn't worth repairing and that the cost would exceed the price of a new unit.
On September 18, 2026, I picked up the saw and requested my $20 deposit back since no work had been performed. During pickup, I spoke with the technician, who stated they "did not want my business." I responded that a business should not operate the way they do.
Recommendation: I strongly advise against doing business with this shop. In my experience, they were unprofessional and seemed more interested in selling a new unit than providing actual repair service. read more
