I went through the brief online registration process and Griffin set up my activated key fob to be left in a lockbox as I would be arriving after staffed hours. After using this gym for the past few days, I've realized it's the perfect balance between a hardcore gym where weights are being tossed around left and right, and a PF where you are very limited. The place is spotlessly clean, has a great selection of modern equipment, and the owner Griffin clearly understands that customer service/experience is key. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

Not a lot of weekend classes, so I'm paying for something that they don't really let me use. I will probably buy a membership somewhere else next month. Not impressed!! There are two studios. The yoga studio is pretty small. There were about 10 students and we were all pretty close together. The wasabi restaurant and the Rathskeller downstairs sometimes make distracting noises. Location is scary to access in the dark, as it's on Michigan St. parking is kind of challenging. Teachers are great and offer help with your practice when the class size is smaller, and have offered to help before and after class . Studio gets hot for the hot yoga classes,'but nowhere near as hot as better insulated facilities. There are showers and a locker room, and downtown location is very convenient!! Super affordable classes, great workout and experience, and even the other students are nice.

Ariel, the coach did a great job with the class and was both attentive and helpful. Athletes in the class were very friendly and supportive. It felt like a fun community. Aerial appears to offer more than CrossFit. Duluth is very fortunate to have a gym of this caliber, knowledgable coaches and friendly people.

Classes often fill up so early(you can sign up the day before.) that if you get to the gym on Monday at 6:00a.m. to sign up for a Tuesday class-too bad. There seems to be a system that keeps the newer people out.Sad because there are a number of people who seem to want to teach and aren't allowed to. Also, classes don't seem to run much after 5 p.m. Second minor issue, the men's bathroom smells like 10 college kids pee'd on the floor.

Should be renamed to Planet Fix This!…read more It was a nice new gym but now is in rapid decline. Machines are left unrepaired and inoperable for weeks at a time. Vinyl on many of the machines is cracked, abrasive and worn. It seems like there is a tipping point before they affect repairs. I.E. no repairs until at least 10 machines need work. When they first opened, they had a number of issues with regard to cleanliness, employee engagement and safety, but things have definitely improved in that regard. The employees are far more engaged, friendly and hard working now. That being said, and because of the decline in equipment safety and operation, as a healthcare provider, I'm not sure that I can in good conscience recommend this place to my patients. I think with perpetuated effort and more frequent repairs, they could reach 4 or 5 stars.

You will need to find parking and most likely pay to park either on the street or the lot. Looks are deceiving. It looks small from the outside but there was plenty of wall and a back area for bouldering. There was also a seating area upstairs. Along with Ben, Anthony helped us get set and both were very patient and friendly with our group. We had many first time climbers and they both encouraged them and made them feel comfortable. Thank you so much for the amazing experience. Many of our youth said it was a highlight of the weekend.
