They have a wonderful gift shop that also should not be missed. Also, take the train. It is only a few bucks and it is a relaxing way to see the park with your young ones. Walking into the curling club you get this classic ballroom vibe that overlooks the club. You walk past the overlook of the lanes and you hit this little bar. Everything about this room makes you feel like you belong to the club and you have curled for years. The tables have signatures from special events held there. There are locals always there ready to talk shop and help spread the love of the game. So at least go a have a beer, grab some food and watch some skips and sweepers! Curling for beginners! I got the best crash course from the great staff/ experienced curlers. I can't express my gratitude of how patient they were on each detail and every step to overall get our team to be able to PLAY a game! They started us off by explaining some rules and etiquette. I have never curled before so this was a first for me. They taught us how to push off from the block. Slide the rocks back and forth. Teach us the lingo and hand signals. How to "curl " the rock and the correct way to sweep. Then after we got the basics out of the way, they taught us how to score. We got to play and it was an absolute blast. I was using mussels I didn't know I had. It's so easy to get into it. We got so competitive. Once we got a rock in the area you were actually supposed to. We were all Jacked. It's was a lot of bonding that we needed and something that I can't wait to do again.

The video and safety disclaimer is a real buzz kill but that is nothing against the business...just expect to sign every legal right you think you might have away. We were brought up to about 11k feet. I was expecting 14k. They only had one instructor / jumper so that was disappointing as we had jump separate which made it a much longer day. We will be back. So, this was pretty cool. For my 18th birthday, my parents took me skydiving. It was really a lot…read moreof fun. They woke me up, rushed me out of the house, then drove to Superior to get into a plane and jump out! Skydiving was always something that I wanted to do, and the fact that I got to do it at a (pretty) young age is really cool. The guys that run this whole operation are great! Some of the best, funnest, older guys around. But when they mean business, and need to be serious.. they totally are! When you get there, after you sign all your papers and what not. You then watch a brief (about 20 minute) safety video. The first two times you skydive, it is required that you go tandem (with a pro on your back!). After your video, you then go practice what you are going to do in the air. The tell you not to throw the rip cord when you pull it for your parachute to go off...and of course what do I do? Throw it! How convenient. It costs an extra $25 or so, if you do that. Next, it's time to get into the plane. The guys are really adamant about making sure this is something you really want to do, which is good, because once the plane takes off, the only way you are getting back to the ground, is by jumping! But seriously, it was F-ing amazing! I jumped at about 1100 feet, and you could see ALL of EVERYTHING. I was more taken aback by how much you can see.. all of Lake Superior, Duluth, Superior.. and then some! It was great! I would recommend this to anyone! I cannot wait to go again. I think the next time I do it, I want to do it down in the cities someplace. i was lucky too, for like $85.00 more or so, you can pay some guy to jump with you and video tape the whole experience. It's cool, because now when I tell someone about this, I actually have proof of my jump! Plus it is something you can watch over and over again! Go Skydiving.. It is AMAZING!

Matt was our energetic host jumping into character as our lead stage hand and providing just enough information with his hints to keep us working forward. The set was very well thought out and executed with authenticity and precision none of us have seen in any other escape room. You really felt that you were in a whole other world working to solve the puzzles. Absolutely amazing and will definitely patronize this business again! I am reviewing as a spectator and mother of a finisher. It's always been on my list to go up to…read morewatch this marathon and in 2022 my daughter decided to run so off we were to cheer her on. The marathon is on a beautiful course along the water. The day was absolutely perfect for running, around 50 degrees and sunny most of the race. As a spectator, you need a plan that allow you to travel, park, get to a spot, cheer, get back to your car, and time the next spot your runner will be...rinse and repeat as many times as you can over 26 miles. Grandma's is a bit more challenging to do that (as compared to Twin Cities) because there are only so many arteries to the race route. There are cars all over and lots of people moving at the same time. Closed roads and construction didn't make it easier. We were able to see our runner about 6 times on the course. She was easy to find after the race. It was all well organized with race packet easy to pickup. Allow plenty of time for parking as there are tons of people and cars to work around. Great experience.

Grandma's Marathon was great! It is a beautiful course and there are supporters along most of the…read moreway! It is super exciting to run into Duluth - the last 4 miles or so are packed with people cheering the runners on. The festivities continue after the race! There is live music all night and other special events and vendors around Canal Park. Wonderful weekend, great race!!! If you're debating whether or not to sign up next year, this is your sign to do it!
