In turn, we had completely ruined furniture, broken glass, dishes, etc... with exception of two dressers and some clothing, everything had to be replaced. From out initial consultation with Danny, we felt confident he had estimated spacial integration, truck size, etc adequately. He assured us our belongings would be handled with care. Straight Shot Enterprises is who we hired to take care of our move. When moving day arrived we had Walter and Dimitrius who were not only friendly, kind and respectful to us, they handled our furniture, every boxed item, exisiting property and new property as well with great care! The guys were very hard workers! Once we arrived to the new property, the gentlemen wasted no time and were ready to unload a 26 foot truck and trailer. Despite the extremely hot, humid weather including some rain that day, we experienced a successful move! Fantastic customer service from start to finish! No type of damage whatsoever. We were very pleased! I highly recommend Straight Shot Enterprises!

On November 19, my wife was diagnosed with a serious illness that forced us to cancel the move. I immediately contacted Mr. Bourgos, explained my change of plans and the reason, and asked for a refund of my deposit. The work was not scheduled to be performed until December 8 and 9, so I was giving SGL almost three weeks notice that I needed to cancel. Their office is only a few miles from my residence. After sending several very professional text messages to Mr. Bourgos asking for a refund of my deposit, on December 3, 14 days after I first explained my problem and asked for a refund, he finally informed me that he would not issue a refund. Under the circumstances, I was quite surprised. Was Mr. Bourgos decision the result of greed? Is the company short on funds? Hubris? Would a reputable company have kept my money? Decide for yourself. What I do know is I would never do business with them again.

After the initial installation the quality of the work was mediocre at best, the next day I called the owner because one of the replaced screens was already falling off. He came back within a week to make the repair, the repair was completed but the screen was not as tight as it should be. Fast forward to March 2018, it was noticed that there were bugs coming into the screened area, upon further and closer inspection, it was discovered that there were areas where the screen was lose and the bugs were getting in, it was also observed that the rubber used to secure the screens was hanging down. A call was made to the owner and he responded within a week to inspect, said it was an easy repair and never called back and has returned calls and its now been a month. I would like to not have to write a negative for a company, however, I have paid for work that was not completed correctly with no response at all.
