My PT, Lindsey Knox, wanted to send me to a specialist for an MRI despite improvement in my injury after 3 weeks of treatment. When I asked "Why? I am improving?", I did not get a straight answer, just more pressure to see a specialist. When I went to my primary care doctor for a second opinion, they did not believe I needed an MRI because I was improving. It seems to me that Lindsey was trying to get me to spend more money and/or benefit from a referral. I cannot trust a facility that puts that before patient care. - Lack of transparency in billing. I received a bill in the mail nearly 3 months after my treatment in February. By then, it had a 30-60 day "late charge". I had also already paid through my HSA in March. This is unacceptable for two reasons: 1. Even if I hadn't paid yet, you cannot send a bill late and then charge the patient for a late payment. 2. I had already paid online through my HSA and many of the itemized charges there were different than those displayed in the mailed bill. I think some of the issues may be because Summit Rehab contracts out their billing to another company, leading to confusion.

I recently had the pleasure of PT at summer Summit rehab on Lincoln Avenue in Snohomish. My…read morephysical therapist was Tanner Lung and I would recommend him to anyone. He is tough and knowledgeable but very affirming of your efforts and caring. The rest of the staff is very personable as well. It was a great experience overall!

Let me start first by saying I was very pleased with my appt with their MLD therapist - Maggie…read more Maggie was great. So kind and helpful and VERY thoughtful of my specific medical situation. She was also very knowledgeable, which helps because I have Lipedema (NOT Lymphedema) and many don't know much about Lipedema but she does. BUT their problem at the Snohomish location is the front desk person, Tori. She is incredibly RUDE. First of all, my first appt last week, I walked in, smiled, greeted Tori and said who I was there to see. She frowned, had a grouchy tone of voice, handed me a TON of paperwork to fill out, which I did, and when I was done, told me that Maggie would come get me. Now first of all, besides Tori - please people ... SEND THIS STUFF TO PATIENTS IN EMAIL! For heaven's sake. I have essential tremors so writing is difficult. My husband was with me and had to help me fill all of this out, which included medical history, list of meds, etc. It took me about 20 minutes to fill all this out, which put me at 5 minutes PAST my appt time. :-( Maggie came to get me and things were great them. But then Tori handed me a list of my next 5 appointments when we were on our way out. OHHHH KAYYYY. NO ONE - AT ANY TIME - consulted with me to find out what would be good days and times to come in AND we had to get out of there because my husband had a work meeting to get to. When we got home, we set the list of appts down and forgot about them until Sunday. My bad. BUT ... they were ALL for Tuesdays in the early morning. We normally don't do Tuesday appts when my husband has to go with me because he has to go into the office on that day. He took this day at home for THIS appt. AND I have some medical things that make mornings my WORST time of day. I try to make all my appts after about 11:00 am, later if possible. I am in so much pain in the morning that getting going is insane. So on Sunday we faxed them to cancel all those appts, stating we will call to reschedule. So this morning (Monday) I called. Tori was SO RUDE! When I asked if she got the fax, she didn't even answer me. When I told her I need to delete the these appts and reschedule them, she RUDELY AND STERNLY said "ALL 5 OF THEM!!!" I said "Yes, all 5 of them. Also, Maggie only needs to see me for one or two more appts and then I'm done anyway." (This is because she teaches us how to do MLD at home on our own. This is common with this therapy. So then Tori asked me what time tomorrow I could reschedule for, I was looking at my calendar and finally told her 1:00 pm. THEN she tells me Maggie doesn't have ANYTHING until April 10th. REALLY??? NOW YOU TELL ME!!! How about "Maggie doesn't have anything until April 10th, so what would be your best days and times after that?" Tori has no business working the front desk of ANY business. She gives them a bad name. I have read other bad reviews from people who won't go back to this location BECAUSE OF HER. I won't either. I cancelled all my appts and I will go to another clinic, even though I have to drive twice as far to get there. I know I will be treated well there because I've been there before. I chose Summit because it was closer. But Tori was the straw that breaks the camels back. Summit should find someone else to work their front desk. She is the FACE of Summit in Snohomish and she makes them look VERY BAD.

He is respectful, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. I've seen him three times so far and try to write reviews where deserved. My experience summarized: - I feel significant relief in my neck - I am heard and advocated - I receive recommendations from him to provide to my physical therapist - I receive recommendations for alternative treatment and with consideration of the complexity of insurance claims - Clean practice 5/5 highly recommend for anyone in Snohomish County

He is personable but not overly and that's partly bc we have established a relationship over time. I could see with someone that doesn't have that history at first might mistake his professionalism with something else or less but that would be a mistake. (and besides I have had THAT chiropractor before that is just too friendly and did not care for it myself) He has also been great at fixing my pain from my hips to my back to my neck lol My experience, for what it is worth, is that he is the best chiropractor in the area, Snohomish, or otherwise. He is worth folks trying out but if you don't that's fine with me bc then more availability for me to monopolize.

My first few months were exactly as he described - Janelle was amazing, her focused massage work, the education-sharing and care Janelle provided, helped immensely for me as a new patient and my rotator cuff/frozen shoulder situation. I was grateful for the recommendation. Insurance covered and I was progressively feeling relief and results. Sadly Janelle was leaving this practice. As her thoughtful parting gesture Janelle recommended a couple therapists to continue where she left off, which I looked forward to as she spoke so highly of their level of care and service. Then COVID hit. Fast forward two months and now I'm eager to start the therapy up again, I called today asking when they would be open for service. To my SHOCK the therapists (Kendall) have returned to work already, in fact 4 weeks ago. I was told Kendall was only calling back her "priority" list clients.... I wasn't sure what that meant, but of course I didn't get called or contacted.. when I asked for clarification the gal at the desk basically dismissed me and said "ok, goodbye" In the competitive service industry when we have choices on our therapy care - when it comes to how you're made to feel and overall experience..... we need more therapists like Janelle.
